Hopefullylah bro bbear & i'm praying hard now for my 2.0 Forte. Sorry to hear that u already gave up the Forte. & yupp..nice to look at all those cars at the same spot, same time. Can make better comparison. Besides Sylphy Impul, the new Lancer GTS also attracted me so much. hmm..see howlah later.

Actually i'm hoping that Naza-Kia will exhibit Forte 2.0 at that exhibition so i can thoroughly look at it again, but unlucky me..only Forte 1.6SX & Picanto were there. By the way, VW Passat & Scirocco also there. Very5 nice car indeed..but when look at the price..way out of my reach..hehe

from the way u put it, u r still very much into Forte, hope u will finally settled down with Forte.. Dun want to consider 1.6SX mehh?

at 23..i only afford to buy wira aeroback 1.3 by my own money. I cant imagine..what car will i buy that time (or even now) if my mom sponsor me RM17k downpayment..Civic perhaps..hehe

Besides that, i need the cruise control function that 2.0 has. & when talking about cruise control (besides 2.0 Forte) only Mazda 3 2.0, Pug 308/407 & Civic 2.0 left as my options (within my affordability)..too bad that Sylphy & Lancer dont have that function But my choice is always 2.0 Forte

u know something bro izputra - we have so much in common....u were driving waja 1.6 so did i (sold late last month), from 1.6 to 2.0 just like in my case, waiting in uncertainty like me and probably many more

i dont like to tell u this but i have a very2 strong feeling that the 2.0 wud only be available in February 2010 if not later....y i tell this??.....the boss at the place i booked my 2.0 is a darn good fren of my dad and infact he told his SA to make sure i get my 2.0 the first time he gets any delivery....and u know what??...i believe him.....and the sad thing is i personally ranged him up today to inquire on the 2.0 delivery (he told me last Sunday that 2.o shud be available by next week) and u know what??....he said 2.0 wud only be available for me (kawan baik nie) by mid February latest...

so to all 2.0 buyers, u need to wait in patience la ekk coz i dont think our ride is gonne be in our porch very soon.....if we get it efore that i shud say its a BONUS

Of course i'm sakit hati so much to wait in uncertainty. & if what u said is true (can only get our car earliest by mid February), maybe 2.0 Forte is not destined for me. Probably i cannot wait for that long since that i desperately need a car before CNY (already sold my waja on early December) to attend family functions at my hometown (Perlis) & to go outstation. Anyhow..i will wait till the end of this month first but at the same time i will seriously looking for other options in case i have to give up the Forte later.

ya thats good....im also currently borrowing my sis's car and she already hinted that she wants it back for disposal.....ayyooo how la now....motor licence also dont have.....if have can opt to ride a bike on temp....hehehe

sylphy is not my taste la plak and the other 2 i.e lancer and civic are just too expensive for a family man like me.....wish had a mom to sponsor but not as lucky as our penang teacher

Around 1 sec then the speedometer needle will start moving. Try to turn on your engine at around 7am when it's cold.

One more thing I noticed is that whenever I start the engine & drive off, there will be some intermitent mechanical sound coming from the left side of the car. It'll go off after a while. Is it normal?

Zubin, Izputra n 2.0 buyers. If there is not mistaken, 2.0 is here arrived in Malaysia but limited units (around 200). Those who booked earlier b4 Jan 2010 will have chance to get it. Why SA saying price will increase 20k ? meaning wat i posted are 100% correct. I was saying due to price impact on local (proton) and import brand (honda etc), government will not release the 2.0 that arrived unless Naza-Kia willing to increase their price. So i do believe wat my branch manager told is true. The 1st batch 2.0 will be releasing to 1st batch customers as soon as they settle the price which will effect from 2010. I've booked it b4 2010, load approved n paid downpayment. Why 1 or 2 months ? why dont give them a chance ? good things always need waiting list, meaning alot people wants it ! am i right ? correct me if the above info is wrong. THanks

a rough calculation states that you require to have at least 8-10k down payment, and able to place at least 800 a month for a period of 9 years, and 800 is on top of the car maintenance cost , petrol, oil change, insurance & road tax.

if cannot afford 800 a month save more and place in more deposit lor ..
