Hopes all the problem can be resolve sooner. I recommending you to visit the SC tomorrow and not wait until Saturday. You may want to driving around during long weekend and best to get it done as soon as possible. Saturday is a short day and they may not able to do anything.

By the way... do you have access to multimeter ? Measure the battery voltage.. without car running and with car running.. that will at least give you an idea if your alternator / charger is working properly... normal car's battery voltage should be at least 14.2V under charging. Let me know if you need any helps or need my multimeter.

I am not going to scold the SC cos definitely not their fault but going to call up careline for sure

Imagine this, my manager was asking me "... sure you want to get another Kia ah?" ... tmr when i tell him that i am taking half day off to fix my new Kia, he sure says "see blah blah blah ..." sigh ... was telling a lot of people that Forte is a good car and value for money ... i will feel like slapping myself tmr when i see them

Wah guys, quite scary reading what u guys said about Naza service. hurm, i guess the problem of false promise by Naza only happened for 2.0 model right? if im planning to buy 1.6 one, should i be worried?

basically there're 2 defect...

a) defect can detect on the spot when KIA QA test it...
ie... knock knock sound, water enter inside the bonet, aircond not function, etc...
above issue, QA team can reject the car before export

b) defect can't detect on the spot when KIA QA test it...
ie... similar what 4te facing... they start the engine let's say 50 times and no prob at all so how they want to know there's a prob when reach at 4te?
so they can't reject it coz for them no issue at all...

before send to SC make sure record a video to simulate what is happen coz when u arrive there, the prob maybe not appear at all. at least with the video u can show them.

my previous satria 10 years ago facing temp high (near redline). just bough only 3 months. 10 years ago hp can't capture video so no proof. when sent to SC, 2 hours try to simulate the prob but the temp is maintain below half so SC said 'no prob with your car'...
go back home suddenly temp increase again... go back to SC... as usual nothing happen but force them to replace the thermostat sensor. after replace, think prob settle but after few months happen again...
tension... sell the car... problem solved...

anyway i still hope my faith with forte... hope no prob with me... hehehe...

for King Loong emblem, can join phelix's list. for the silver wheel cap, 4te's list. for the black wheel caps, i can work out the price with the korean seller.

whatever naza changes when they get the car from korea, i'll change it back to OEM KIA... means the 6 items on the car exterior
