The price went up a bit. Centre Circle selling it at RM330. It is better to check with CN Lim of Acoustique System in Amcorp Mall.

No choice... if you were to ship it back from US, you could save around RM50 bucks.

If CN Lim still have stock, the saving is only about RM20.

The purpose of Subdude is to isolate the sub from the floor so that the sub's vibrations are not transferred to the floor. In overseas countries wooden floors are quite common and the sub's vibrations can cause the floor to vibrate and this will make the bass sound more boomy, less clean. Many people on AVS say that Subdude is not necessary on concrete floors (like what we have in Malaysia) but I think Subdude can still have some effect.

Condos have hollow floor... smile.gif
With and without isolation, the difference is day and night.
Bass is now tight and punchier, even at low volume!

Someone is on his way home with his second SVS sub biggrin.gif . In few hours time, I bet he will proudly show his dual subs to us.

He also noted the improvement of LFE in my system, which is much tighter than before and also more tactile. Best is for him to describe later smile.gif

Will await the pics and report from the good doctor then! thumbup.gif

Good to know you continue to push the envelope. Since it doesn't involve 4 subs, did you perhaps play around with positioning?

Wait til you are here tongue.gif I tested US 360 in Pasadena. The result is satisfying.

I am going to do more tweaking next week. This time on my stereo system. Once done, I'll go back to my subs again.

Had a chance to visit max last Sunday for some play time.
The lfe has more information. Whereas previously, there was just high spl, now there is added bass information too.

The bone crushing effect is more pronounced than before in the IpMan2 boxing scene and more gut wrenching.

One thing tho, the shaking of the sofa is more unidirectional, ie, always starts from the left. The overall sonic experience is incredible with the DSX wide and height enabled.

When I got home, I felt I was listening to a mini combo in comparison.

Thank you for the comment, Doc.

Yes, the tactile feeling still unidirectional. I am going to try to 'uniform' it by this weekend.

After you left, there was a KL customer who came and auditioned it. His comment is very good too. He was shocked by the LFE though coz he never experienced it before at other shops. LOL..

ronnt, it is a matter of want or not only for you. 'Wet wet water' in your case to build a dedicated HT room tongue.gif

When you are in vicinity, please drop by smile.gif

Bro, ain't bass nuts lah. Most of us did not run it hotter than 3dB even with dual subs. But, it is the effortless bass and seamless bass response that really make you grin.

It is difficult to put into words until you experience it tongue.gif

The spl is at 75 dB calibration, not running hot at all.
