Please set the trim level (-1.5) at your avr. Then, use the RS spl meter to create another Fr graph for comparison. Tq.

Sorry, don't understand this part. You mean manually plot a graph using the RS SPL meter and test tones, to compare vs EQ1 graph?

Also, any idea why EQ1 starts to roll off around 24-25 Hz?

Sigh, I missed it.
Taukeh, don't dismantle your set up first.
No worries, just means you have to go to his shop to listen in future (instead of the house).

Taukeh HT Kaki how low can the PB13 & PC13 can go?
I really have no idea how does a subwoofer below 20HZ sounds like.
I listen to REL once.
But I don't know whether REL is below 20HZ or not.
It seems like very soft...
Not punchy.
Does GSC cinema subwoofer also below 20hz?
*
You can check how low the sub goes by looking at the specs and also 3rd party testing on the various forums. There have been graphs published before. I believe the PB13 can go to 15 Hz and below.

Honestly, you probably won't be able to hear below 20 Hz (it's more about the feel), so hard to tell you what it sounds like.

I have no idea what kind of sub GSC cinema uses.

Added on January 28, 2010, 9:32 pmI ran audyssey two days ago. Sub trim was at -2db. I manually set 3db higher... run hot hot  wub.gif

Should you run the sub this hot during this break in period?

bro jchong, -2db is audyssey calibrated setting.
I set add 3db to make it to +1db.
I am running 20hz with room compensation 'off'.
Is the setting okay? It sounds good tho.
*
Gotta refer to SVS sifu htkaki. I remember he said during break in period not to push the sub too much.

Good to see more updated info on the new sealed models. Interestingly, for the SB13 and SB16 they spec the FR at +/- 6dB limits.

Actually I find PB13 just adequate. Sub gain level is at 10 o'clock.
May be I would need to run another sub.
My fronts and center connected to xpa are overpowering the rest now.
My pocket is 'kosong' and I am having space constraint to place another svs.  sweat.gif
Or SB13 would be another better option.
*
Wah, PB13 only "just adequate"?! smile.gif And this is after +3dB hot right?

That means you really like your bass strong. If you feel it's not enough then maybe you can try add another 1-2dB to the sub trim.

Anyway, after you run Audyssey your fronts and center shouldn't overpower the rest.

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes, the PB13-Ultra does have very good output. Moving it around to find best placement is a pain though since it's so heavy smile.gif

Will be slowly fine tuning it over the next few weeks.

At the moment just using PB13 alone since I want to listen more to it. Later might run dual with the F15 to see how they integrate.

No one in PG having the PB13 yet? If not, anfield is always welcome to come here to listen to it.

There is one PB-U in Penang. He is not a lyn member. I'd informed anfieldude to do calibration for his display panel and also to audition the PB-U. Took 3 guys to lift the sub to the 1st floor.
*
Also took 3 guys to bring the PB13 to my room.
