To recover your hard disk drive using utilities stored on your laptop's hard disk:

1. Make sure the laptop is turned off.

2. Press and hold the 0 (zero) key on your keyboard while powering on your laptop. When the laptop powers on, the Toshiba Recovery Wizard screen displays.

I already email teledynamics about the warranty.
They ask for the serial number, model number and they confirm that my laptop has free 2 years warranty. This is what they replied :

"We are actually waiting for the dealers to submit all the serial numbers sold during PC Fair (which will end next month in Ipoh). After that we will verify before sending to Toshiba for updating into the database. Please give us some time to complete the process. You can check at the website at the end of January or February.

Yes, it is confirmed that your laptop has free 2 years warranty extension. Please do not worry as we will definitely honor it. If any problem, you can send your laptop to us anytime for servicing.

I have forwarded it to the relevant person to follow up for you."

You can use Norton Partition Magic, Acronis Disk Director, or Paragon Partition Manager Free Edition to create logical drive.

First, resize your C drive (eg. 100GB), then format & partition the remaining as D drive (choose logical & NTFS format).

i think there is a limit for shrinking hdd size in windows, for you case should be 140GB.
if you want to create partition, is better to create the partition when you recover os.
you can try to use third party software to create partition, but not sure safe or not, cause heard someone say might corrupt the partition.

Yes, all the drivers & applications is there.

I've resized my C drive to 50GB and created D drive as logical drive, 236GB. May be you should try different partition manager.

How much you bought and with any offers or not, like warranty extension. Yeah, I've noticed that the speaker is not as loud as my previous HP laptop.
