I have been searching for new laptop, considering commercial laptop - Toshiba, asus, Lenovo, HP ..

So far, I am attracted to portege R930

Questions : I have never used Toshiba Laptop Before, previous Laptop was HP pavilion DV 3029tx -which lasted me 6 years. I wonder if anyone here has experience of how long can a toshiba laptop last ?

Is this model recommended ?

My L645 laptop screen is going black after 10-15 minutes.

Toshiba Satellite L50-B211BX 15.6" @ RM2,679.00, this one nice ah?
i7, 8gb ram, below 3k seems tempting

But I never bought a Toshiba b4, so I hope you guys can give me some assistance k In term of life span, warranty, securities, and overheating issues.
My main concern with purchasing laptops is the service and "friendliness" of the relevant company, so far I tried ASUS, HP, gaming laptop brands... all suck Therefore, how was the Toshiba Malaysia doing in customer service and attendance to its customer? And best place to buy it from? Regardless of buying in the actual shop or thru online.

I am interested in the p50 normal full HD laptop. Can i ask is it better for me to buy tis model or newer model will be coming out soon? When is the new model release? Im oso quite confuse about the warranty for p50, is it 2 years or 1 year warranty? Does toshiba sell any extend warranty? Tq veri much
