TM just called, they said they need to put me on 5Mbps port .. yes.. will see if this materialised this time ..

my speed is 2mb but i only get like 1.5mbps at speedtest...BUT MY PING is like 200-300...the ping keep on spiking.....any idea how to get my speed capped at 2mbps?? my modem shows there 2045 dl speed and 508 upload speed....call 100 also, they only gimme the same thing..(i'll reset ur port)

I got dced out of sudden then call tm n they said they need two working day to fix the problem. Wth. I was getting very good speed all time and now I can't work for tow days this unacceptable. Any 4mb user also experiecing service interuption?

Login to your modem. You should be able to see these information there.

Dude, seeing some weird issues with my 4mbps line.

Bandwidth test shows 3+ mbps but downloads are damn slow. I get 100Kbps on my 1mbps line and only 15Kbps on my 4mbps line for the same file. Video streaming and radio streaming seeing the same issue. Not even Youtube streams properly.

Anyone seen this problem before? Advice...

Also anyone know a TM eng who will do work on the side?

danesh .. tm international link is still a yoyo .. from what sites you downloaded the file? I could get > 400Kbps if I download from Apple or Microsoft sites (the probably cached the file locally)..

Hey dude, ftp transfers basicly from my seedbox. What pisses me off is that on my 1mbps line in my parents place, the same files would download at full speed..... and youtube videos will stream properly....

Never had such problem.........

mybe its depend on the location... some of my frens using 4mb didnt having any prob... everything working perfectly....

sigh... you guys are lucky then. Time to start b****ing to streamyx support again. The last time on my 1mbps i went to MCMC and they fixed my issue the next day...

Will have to try that again...

Just call Tm installer he said my place cannot support 4mbps =( so sad..... T_T sob....

i pay for 4mb, they give me 4mb. fair enough and i'm a happy customer. anyway congrats to those got >4mb. enjoy it while you can

I'm going to upgrade to 4MB this Thursday. Really worried after reading all your comments. hahah~ Anyway, My location is in Cyberjaya. For now, My 1MBps serves me well. But lately Streamyx is kinda slow. Don't know what happened.

My port was configured to 5120Kbps but dont know why after am come back home just now, i check my modem and its been reversed back to 4096Kpbs. WIll them again.. damnit!
