Then its the same around mine too(1.5 Mbps). So even if you're 1.5, 2.0 or 4.0...they capped youtube at the same speed sad.gif

^ did u call them for the fix & how do u check if i'm connected to the 5120 port? i just subscribed for 4mb/s connection yesterday but i haven't get the connection yet. before this i was using 512mb/s. is it a wise move? i was thinking of upgrading to HSBB once it is officially launched.

You can check your modem for connection speed rate.

Dozz: i see. but won't speed test site like speedtest.net determine the same speed as what displayed by the modem?

raymond8341: wow, impressive speed u got there. may i know how long did u wait for the upgrade from the time u register it?

can anyone confirm that in order to get 4mbps, the line must be this:
SNR > 15db
Attenuation < 40db

Anyone managed to get 4mbps even if didn't meet the above criteria?

Can you check your modem and see what speed they capped for you. Some people got capped at 4096Kbps, some 5120Kbps.

Of cos speedtest could determine your line speed as well.

Taken from my service acceptance form:

i) SNR Checking > 15 db
ii) Attenuation <40 db
iii) Throughput speed [70% of best effort (Local link)]
iv) Replace modem if current modem does not support ADSL 2+

*If one of the items is unsuccessful, please downgrade to lower package.

24 hours?? wow i thought it takes at least 3 days for an upgrade. I'm currently at 512mb/s and the guy from tmpoint told me that a technician will come to my place to configure.

i hope i can get mine by today.

but your download speed shows 3.9mb/s which should be acceptable right? coz TM's policy is to give at least 90% speed off the package's speed.
capped at 512kb/s is considered lucky and i don't think every1 will get it.
