well. this weekend pc fair i should ask my booth ppl all wearing t shirt : potong tak semesti cepat !!

P1 no improve the quality of service but keep ask for more customers.

we should have complaint in media so P1 management can do somthing.

Dear Lowyat_P1WIMAX,

Good morning.

Thanks for your help all these while.

However, I do encounter some problem lately as I have highlighted on the forum but no respond from your side. I getting red light signal and hardly get the yellow light anymore as I tried to re-position the modem few times a day.

Since then, the browsing speed is inconsistent and sometimes fast and sometimes, nothing and need to wait for long time to open a page.

Here the few things I found,

1. Getting red signal most of the time, especially at night.
2. Browsing during day time is alright, but at night, couldn't surf much as I was force to use another broadband to surf.
3. Another thing is, when I tried to download a file, the speed is alright and able to surf. But when finished download, the speed is crawling again. I found out that surfing time are the best when you download file. Therefore I couldn't afford to keep on searching and downloading a file.
4. Have to reboot multiple times in order to surf.

Please advise. My account is 102080702.

I planning to terminate the P1 due to service availability as it frequent having slow connection and unable to surf. Please advise on it since I'm only 2 months++ on the RM99 - 24 months contract.

streamyx have promotion for 4GB Rm160. we just pay another RM60 then not need worry the data over 20GB and stabil line compare with P1. haiz doh.gif

just now i call to P1 hotline. i did report my problem of slow speed when surf net.
they said there will be slow speed / interuption until next year !!! wat the fxxx. we pay every month RM99 but this kind of services we get ?

they said their technical suport also canot do anything.
well. potong right ? now i want potong p1 already.

the fair usage policy - the limit will be reset on every 1st of the month.... or follow the billing date = 14th of the month?

i get 2 different answer from customer service.

by the way, i wanted to ask about my bill. it says that i have to pay the bill this month - RM4.30 ...that is the balance t hat i paid for last month ( supposed to pay RM95.70 and i paid RM100 instead .

so why it doesnt show how much i need to pay for this month? can u please check my bill account. my account number is 101663516

Hear me out please, i know by fact i have a great job, great career, very good monthly income. But my money is hard earn cash. P1 wimax is a fine technology, i must admit this due to the best connection and service i received during the first 2 month using it.

Your problem started when your stupid boss whatever chi bai name he is the cinapek failed to get his whatever marketing department to work with the engineers. you got congested issue. what he is doing is squeezing 12 cows into a kancil.

Your Effort
i appreciate your effots, your 'personal efforts' amaze me. But tell me, how many rounds of visits should i entertain to get my problem solve? we have been making appointments, rounds of visit, problem solve. But later few days, problem arise again. is there a definate or constant solution?

ROI-Return of investment
I invested RM99.00 for Entertainment (Movies streaming, redtube, lowyat, facebook) & Work (VPN, FTP upload files only). Thats all i use for RM99.00, ain't too much to ask for right? But in a month my usage is less than 20%. I can hardly use my internet due to instable connections. Request time-out happend very frequent now and then which never happend 2 months ago.

Please check my usage, you will find every month i never exceed the 20GB cap, not even 50% reaching 20GB. I do not use bit torrent or any torrent application or p2p crap.

So help me out here with 1 stop solution - would you pay for a plate of chicken rice without the chicken?

Personally i think there are only 2 option.
1. Either P1 void my contract with no whatever terms & conditions.
2. Fix the congested and instable connection once and for all as i am paying everymonth with my hard earn cash.

I prefer option 2 cause i always prefer wireless connection and mobility, i do see some good potential in P1. But unfortunately you have a world class dumb ass marketing department & bo$$.

I personally piss off; i can work from home without going to office, but with such connection, how to vpn back to office server? how to work? Broadband was meant for quality of live.

TM and other ISP would be very happy to see how peoples smashing the P1 modem in front of their HQ since P1 had been talking big in their advertisement lately.

i call the centre, the person ask me to wait, i really dont know why must wait.

i lost almost 2k plus 99.00 this 2 month because cannot update my online merchants site.

SKMM should look this as a serius, they take our money but not give what they had promises at the same try to attract more user to uses their service.. this is really scam

well, i have "potong-ed" p1 from my life for now.

was on a 4 months into a 24months rm49 package.

problems include frequent disconnection, unstable connection (very high ping loss up to 50%); near 0 upload speed though download was mostly ok.

often i wont be able to connect for whole nights.

after numerous technical support session, finally one kind soul let it slip that my place is out of coverage.

p1 website shows my place as borderline, but their internal google earth shows the coverage ends at least 500m away.

so i got my cancellation without any penalty smile.gif

will i return to P1? it depends, its a roller-coaster ride, but mobility and no phone line is important to me (currently testing out various 3g service - how i wish amax cover my area tongue.gif)

get your coverage up and your backbone to support the customer requirements and i may return

ok I have been advised to go to P1 Shop Queensbay Penang Island to terminate my P1. Will be returning the modem & get back all the losses (RM280) during traumatic subscription period of P1.
