P1 is juat another amateur ISP ! they do very well on their advertising campaign but they NEVER  upgrade their service, i only to get first 3 month of good connection, after that it's all the way down to hell...

how long do you intend to monitor my case?2 month or another 6 month so that my contract end by the time? I registered at july and Aug was the only month i reached 80% of my usage then P1 wimax seem dead at Sept till now yet still under monitoring. its so obvious that your base station issue. If P1 wimax not intend to invest more please dont promo more.

I think I know why, if Im not mistaken P1 suffer around 30 million RM lost correct and the spokesman said it was calculated loss due to investment what kok la etc. The real reason I think is they overspend on stupid ad even though useful but janji kosong is janji kosong your service is incompetent to say the least. Also too many customers returned the modem and terminated their service, Im very sure at LEAST 20 people EVERYDAY at the p1 padock in PJ return the modem. And worse the promoters are told not to mention about the 7 days so called satisfaction guarantee, which basically means if the customer dont know anything about the 7 days the upfront payment RM100 is non refundable hence they CHEAT the customer use 7 day no satisfied must return modem and loose the RM100 some more. Im really hoping for YTL service for 4G next year so they can whoop P1's a-ss no offence not siding anyone but too many frustrations, cheated etc. IMPROVE YOUR GOD DAMN SERVICE BEFORE EVEN THINKING OF EXPANDING

Man, i have another problem with P1. Previously it was the connection, then it was ok. And, now it's the hardware problem. WTF is wrong with this P1?

Let's talk about my problem, i'm using DV230 Modem (with WiFi). Earlier this evening, something wrong with my connection because my WiFi signal is not stable; and lastly i couldn't detect my WiFi from the Modem.

I checked the UF-230 WiFI Adapter and i found there are no blinking light on it, i assumed something wrong with it. Tried to restart and reboot my modem for a few times, but still it doesn't work.

Now, i'm connected to the internet via LAN cable. Let's hope P1 Authorized Service Provider is open tomorrow in Leisure Mall and they can rectify my problem instantly with a replacement of that UF-230 WiFi Adapter.

I hope they DON'T give me this bullshit like "we have to send your modem to P1 HQ and it would days or so to get it done"

to anyone who is concern bout his/her broadband usage...

i'm a previous owner of P1wimax user who has registered 1mb package in august 2009, i can tell u all, my house is just opposite P1wimax HQ across federal highway, which is located at jalan 222. the reception is totally AWSOME!!!

why i said AWSOME? because, i can use it to stream movies via PPSTREAM or 9PTV etc without any hiccup, not even streamyx 1mb can do it.

BUT, when comes to internet surving, WALAUEH!!! not even a single website can load properly (except p1wimax websites itself).

therfore, i have thrown all the things back to its HQ within 7DAYS...SO WHY NEED POTONG? IF POTONG, ASK THEIR STAFF TO POTONG THEIR HEADS 1ST...

conclusion is, better use back streamyx with 1mb package at least, or, i can recommend celcom broadband, the speed is quite reasonable for surving but not for video streaming.

digi is also recommended as their speed is da fastest among wireless but bare in mind that it is da least capacity offer. lastly, don't ever think of maxis, as it is branded in its name, as well as it packages, cost u a bomb to spend with.

so good luck to all who use 'POTONG' package...

OMG! If this really happen P1 should be responsible for what they are doing.
Good adv (although I don't like it) but sucks at performance.
I could use it for 29 days only the after 19 Nov all 360 degrees changes when maintenance took place in Butterworth area on 19-20 Nov. After that my speed down to 2kbps & getting red LED most of the time.
Don't know what had actually happen but I hope still got chance to cut this subscription even though now already exceeded 30 days cool off period.
For the very 1st bill few days ago I hv been charged RM280 don't know how they calculate it lahh.
Really want to terminate this noob & stupid P1 wimax now.
Their boss has no balls to talk to me as requested few posts back haiz but I won't keep silent without doing nothing in this painful period.
Get some legal action against this sick P1.

My contract is approaching its end. Dec 09 will be the last month for me with P1.

Main reason for not continuing is because I game. Thus low ping is a must, which P1 won't be able to deliver.

It's a very joyful journey with P1. I've done my best to get the best from P1. Speed is 9/10. Stability is 7/10. Ping is 5/10.

P1, oh, P1...........i have good connection for the past 2 weeks, but no thanks to you, after all, I PAY for it. But now.....I means NOW (29/11/09 12.20pm), why suddenly the modem turn RED! What's going on? Transmission tower topple or TNB "potong" your electricity due to non-payment? I am in Kota Kemuning area.

Account no: 102097169. Please response! Using Streamyx 512kpbs to type this. I am canceling my Streamyx next week, by then, no more "back road" for me! Is MCMC reading this forum?

P1 REP!! i hope you still remember me!! my account no:101085983!! Since the first day i complaint till now, my connection still the same and today i am trying to upload my work to my FTP server and guess what!? less than 3% of files uploaded! it failed!! one whole fooking day!

my files only 7.5mb and i can't even upload it for 1 whole fooking day!! Don't tell me you gonna get some hairy and dude to call me cause the problem ain't due to my modem location!! it was due to your base station congested!!!
