i'm a previous owner of P1wimax user who has registered 1mb package in august 2009, i can tell u all, my house is just opposite P1wimax HQ across federal highway, which is located at jalan 222. the reception is totally AWSOME!!!
why i said AWSOME? because, i can use it to stream movies via PPSTREAM or 9PTV etc without any hiccup, not even streamyx 1mb can do it.
BUT, when comes to internet surving, WALAUEH!!! not even a single website can load properly (except p1wimax websites itself).
therfore, i have thrown all the things back to its HQ within 7DAYS...
SO WHY NEED POTONG? IF POTONG, ASK THEIR STAFF TO POTONG THEIR HEADS 1ST...conclusion is, better use back streamyx with 1mb package at least, or, i can recommend celcom broadband, the speed is quite reasonable for surving but not for video streaming.
digi is also recommended as their speed is da fastest among wireless but bare in mind that it is da least capacity offer. lastly, don't ever think of maxis, as it is branded in its name, as well as it packages, cost u a bomb to spend with.

Good adv (although I don't like it) but sucks at performance.
I could use it for 29 days only the after 19 Nov all 360 degrees changes when maintenance took place in Butterworth area on 19-20 Nov. After that my speed down to 2kbps & getting red LED most of the time.
Don't know what had actually happen but I hope still got chance to cut this subscription even though now already exceeded 30 days cool off period.
For the very 1st bill few days ago I hv been charged RM280 don't know how they calculate it lahh.
Really want to terminate this noob & stupid P1 wimax now.
Their boss has no balls to talk to me as requested few posts back haiz but I won't keep silent without doing nothing in this painful period.
Get some legal action against this sick P1.
