I know lotsa Dell / Samsung recommendation will comes, but from what i get on this Acer H233H really worth every penny i spend. Bought 2 already and givin 1 to my fren recently..With 3 major connectivity (D-Sub, DVI & HDMI) with the cable come together inside, its nothing more really convenient brows.gif
And be4 i forgot, u can get this great LCD below 600 already.. nod.gif

after some research and study, i will stick on 16:10 resolution, because i not always watch movies on computer, so i dont need the 16:9 resolution. Between AOC 2218VG and LG W2252T, both with 1680x1050 resolution and both price are similar around RM500~505.

So, i need to know, between these two, which is better?
Both are fine, just pick either one. Another choice would be Dell UltraSharp 2209WA (uses IPS panel). brows.gif

I'm trying to get a monitor around 20-24 inches for movie and gaming. Anything to recommend? State price as well?
If price is not an objection then I would suggest looking at Dell UltraSharp U2410.. icon_idea.gif

QUOTE(wira020 @ Apr 27 2010, 11:51 PM)
I would have gone for 1080p, more future proof... hehe... but i think most 1080p monitor are around rm600++... if price are similar, IMHO i would go for the LG monitor... strictly just brand preferences tho... Lg use same panel as Samsung i think...
The price of 1080p monitors starts from RM450 (e.g. BenQ G2220HD) or higher depending on size. As for the panels, you got it opposite. LG produces their own panels as well as Samsung. Ocassionally certain Samsung models will use panels from AUO, Chimei and LG instead. icon_rolleyes.gif

Acer's Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) technology for stunning picture quality. ACM delivers high contrast ratio and optimum brightness to produce the best possible picture for any image or application.
It analyses every scene and adjusts images frame by frame to enhance colour quality, fine-tunes contrast by making bright areas brighter and dark areas darker, and allows the LCD monitor to use less power and save energy.
