Hey my 15inch samsung syncmaster just broke down. now planning to get a new LCD, budget around rm500. but im not sure wat inch to get. i heard most forumers prefer 21inch and above, but from the comparison i see in FP, 19inch would alrdy be extremely huge, any huger might be harmful to the eyes?
and may i know how much is the price difference btwn 19inch to 21inch? if its only a small margin, i might probably get the latter but i still can't see the reason behind getting such a huge monitor. Hopefully forumers here can give some advice. Thanks! |

if u mean going to 19" wide, its not worth it from 15" as the height is about the same...its just wider...and most will cost around RM350++.
at least with a 21.5" above its a significant upgrade, and it's 1080p HD resolution and roughly RM100 more only. |

Anyone uses Samsung B2430H with PS3 connected using HDMI cable? Any incompatibility issues with PS3? How is the picture quality? Any severe ghosting or not since it is a 5ms panel? Many thanks.

QUOTE(LemonBraders @ Apr 25 2010, 09:56 PM) in that case then maybe not u can always run it at a lower res, but of cos it wont look nice and pointless buying something u wont use. if u still want to continue with ur 15" resolution of 1024x768 and maintain the same height / size etc, then 18.5" ones would be ok since they run at 1366x768 and are same height as 15". 19" and 20" wide screen ones should be at 1600x900 and maybe about 2-3cm taller. |

Hi Everdying,
A question for you. I'm using Acer Full HD monitor and i've set my refresh rate to 50hz and Color depth to 32bit. Im using Gigabyte GE Force 210 w HDMI output. The issue is , when i just surfing or doing some work, my monitor goes black screen and it appears back. Do you have any idea , what should i do next? |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Apr 26 2010, 02:36 AM) Hi Everdying, Hmm.. what is the native refresh rate of your monitor? 50Hz sounds a bit odd... most non-3D monitor nowadays works at 60Hz... 3D monitor at 120Hz... Full HD would also mean you use it at 1920x1080 res right?... my AOC 2434pw flickers terribly when i try set at 75Hz.. which is 15Hz more than it's native refresh rate... try 60Hz and see... if not try use other connection, dvi maybe... in some rare case, cheap HDMI cable arent able to transfer full HD signal probably...A question for you. QUOTE(Smackers @ Apr 26 2010, 01:10 PM) Hi guys,i just got my 22" Samsung SyncMaster 2243SWX Plus LCD.any recommendation for LCD screen protector? Antiglare plexy/plastic or tempered glass.. floating a few mm above the panel, sole purpose is to protect from initial moderate force sharp/blunt impact. I see no other protection with film layer except for privacy by reducing viewing angle |

I think i'll try changing to a different HDMI cable and test it for a few days and monitor if the flick still goes on.Try reading the thread, or at least state your budget. Else get Dell U2410, RM1.8k Not very often, but once in a while it happens. The monitor only supports upto 60hz max [not sure if this is correct tho]. Let me check again. |
