just a question..is there no wide lcd that have the same reso as the new iMac 27" reso (2560x1440)? as the iMac price is so overkill..
*
there is rumor that Dell is going to released its new 27inc LCD use h-ips panel and has the same resolution as iMac 27, 2560x1440
the model name might be Dell U2710 ?

i know..that one is long already..but it is in W+ 16:10 form..and i think there's none offered in Dell Malaysia right now..plus for that price u could buy the iMac itself..haha..I was hoping the 27" 16:9 version will not be that expensive..as the last 16:10 27" by dell is around 2k price only.

did u sent it to the shop?..usually the shop will wait until there are a lot of items to sent for the warranty to the supplier..if u sent directly to the supplier should be faster..for 1 to 1 exchange, sometime u can get in the same day if they got stock..but there are also some supplier that need at least 1 week to check whether the problem caused by customer/the manufacturer..

Try put your monitor on other PC/lappy. If prob still exist, then you gonna bring your LCD to RMA/repair.

LCD might break down @ the first day you carry back home, now it served you one year ++ you're lucky lo bro.
Bring your LCD to RMA if under warranty, otherwise ask someone to repair.

i expect the lcd could last for at least 3-4 years,

the warranty period is over already,is it worth fixing at all or just buy a new one?
