Wouldn't a 25" 1980x1020 LCD lose image sharpness? Lower pixel density and all that...
*
this lcd is fullhd 1920x1080. if u buy 1980x1020 and play a console like ps3/xbox360, the image either stretch to fit screen or it will have black border.

no issues when using pc.

guys..
i'm using acer h233h for my xbox via hdmi

The built in speaker is too loud

how do i transfer the sound to external speaker?

the lcd only have hdmi, analog, dvi & sound input.

Q: Is this monitor suitable to use with ps3/xbox and is there any way to connect a separate headphone or speakers to the monitor?
A: This monitor can be connected to a PS3 through HDMI. However, you may not connect a separate set of speakers of headphone to this product since it does not have an audio out port.

To enable the sound to transmit through your stereo, etc, simply by using the composite cable(the one that came with the ps3 or xbox)

Hello, monitor newbie here, planning to get myself a new monitor and I need some suggestions. smile.gif

3) Headphone jacks, if available, since I believe PS3 cannot output both HDMI and the red/white audio together and I don't have speakers with optical connection.
With audio output i can somehow still wire it to my old speakers so I could still enjoy some subwoofer blast biggrin.gif

Care to help me out? Thanks! notworthy.gif

ps3 can multi output hdmi and analogue!

Does it means that the performance of the G2410 is better than the rest? Cause the Acer S243HL is also a led backlit unit. I'm still able to use a converter if i want to connect the G2410 with hdmi cables right?

yes absolutely. smile.gif

I'm wondering did any of u guys use a 32" Full HD LCD TV as a the primary monitor? i'm wondering will it degrade text quality? i can't get a chance to see the result myself. i understand watching movie and gaming shall work fantastic but what about text display and long hour staring at it? I'm planning myself an upgrade either to go for samsung 27" or samsung LCD TV 32" which will cost double... i know...
btw, 32" will be max for my setup and i won't go anything beyond that scale biggrin.gif
*
i've 32" fullhd hook with my pc, so far so good. since i only use to watch movies, i haven't notice any low quality in text, unless watching closely which i'm sure it pretty bad for our eyes.

the only problem is due to the driver. if u using lcd tv with pc, no proper driver is installed. it only use generic/default driver for monitor, so there is nothing u can do to adjust the setting to make it look perfect, for an example, i only have 1 choice which is set the tv setting to "PC mode". if i change to something else, or change each parameters individually, i will get crappy image quality... it mean, the PC mode that i use is an optimum setting or i can say the best i can get if i'm hooking my tv with pc...

I encountered something like that before. Went into a Dell retailer store and happened to see a ST2410 on display. Asked for the price and the sales person told me it's RM750. Ok, nvm then i told him about the online pricing of RM679. He replied me saying if you order online you have to pay for the delivery, which is very expensive because the monitor is heavy.. rclxub.gif

thats why every time i go to any store, when the sales person offer to entertain me, i said "nvm, i just survey the price".. too bad they keep following behind me doh.gif
