My cousin had this, sounds excellent and very affordable. The only problem, it died exactly 1 week after warranty expired. Maybe he was just unlucky.

RM120 is pretty low for a good all-round speaker. But base on your need i think Logitech X-210 will do just fine.

for RM120 (lower end budget), you can always opt for Edifier M1335F, or look for a good deal in Garage Sales, you might be able to get Edifier M2300.

Altec Lansing used to be good, but the newer models nowadays, according to the forummers, aren't good anymore. not sure about Logitech, but avoid Sonic Gear at all cost

Can someone please recommend me 5.1 speakers (prefer with remote control) and a sound card please ? Currently using build in one. For music purpose. Budget around RM500.

Then i think i will only consider Edifier M1335 and Logitech X-210. Heard of sonic gear's poor quality too... How about eacan A600MI? Saw it at tropicana mall's carrefour with one satellite spoilt(dunno how to say but the... what is that call? the layer which will vibrate... dunno call what is pushed inside by someone...)

RM120 is low but i don't have much budget for it. Just want to listen to some nice quality music with nice speaker but not to say spend a lot on it. Still a student so budget is always a limitation. Another thing is that... I will be staying with my frens. Can't buy higher power speaker to pump the condo with music... or noise(for some ppl). Even got budget for it... I will be wasting it as i won't utilize the power of the speaker.

So now... M1335/x-210 or eacan A600Mi(i don't actually like the subwoofer and satellite design which will easily spoil it by pressing at them compare to X-210 sub which is downwards firing-i think no ppl will purposely turn it over to spoil it)...

if you are worried that the sub will spoil easily by physical acts,then m1335 is the best because everything is covered
tested the a600mi and felt like the sub needs improvement inside the enclosure
felt like got echos when played loud,needs more acoustic fluff I guess

u said divoom good choice?? really nice kah?? i like divoom x force 1 design.. look like logitech z5500.. lol.. but never heard it perform yet..

Any place that i can like... listen to the sound quality of the speakers i feel like want to buy? Logitech X-210 and M1335. Choosing between them. Need to hear to the sound quality rather than just reviews. Any shop offer this?

Sien. quite lazy to go lowyat. I found there too messy for me... Too many shops and everything is like not arranged... Hope coming pc fair got these models. i wanna try out.

I only saw Logitech X-210 in one shop in lowyat(i din go through all the shop but went in those shops which i can see the speaker corner only). Not turned on... so cannot try out the sound. Price... RM125 for X-210, RM109 for M1335, RM129 for M1335F. Will try them out again in PC Fair. Will buy them in PC Fair too.

Yea but... there's always a section specially for speakers. Just walk around that section will do. however... i went to lowyat also. Only found one shop with logitech x-210. None in digital mall. Youtube-d x-210 and found many good review about its strong bass. Going for it!!

but the sound will be messy
full 360 degree around you will be BOOM BOOM BOOM with bass and the dealer will keep asking you to buy this and that and others will be pushing you around
basically a good sounding speaker will always sound bad during PC Fair because of interruption and stuff
best to go to a dedicated shop to test then only buy it in PC Fair when satisfied.
