If you get Razer Mako, you doesn't only buy the THX certified and the brand name. You get what you pay, this speaker really really powerful !

5.1 speaker i using essential. The small type.
so far not bad, the sound can differentiate nicely of the angle.
added 2 more to become 7.1 since i have yamaha amplifier.

Best budget 5.1 speakers ever.

compare to divoom,edifier,altec for RM360 price range, which one better??? i also wanna get x-540...but there is only 1 shop sell this in my town..pc depot...n the price is RM355..n i haven't test/listen 2 the speaker yet..i only watch the unbox and bass testing in utube..

for <RM400 5.1, u can consider Edifier R501 as well.

for 5.1 i am using logitech z-5500D with Asus Xonar D2x sound card no regrets ever since.

If compare loud, Mako not able to defeat S730 and both has tight & heavy bass. S730 lack of mid, while Mako was better in term of high and mid. I'm choose Mako because of the tiny size of speaker No comment on z-cinema as I never test this speaker before.

i want to find a good bass speaker that can go loud...can make my heart feel pain one....can make my mouse pointer shake2....


u tried s730 before right?...between this two which is nicer in term of sound( not design or size of the speaker)...and how loud can mako go?


anyone tried bose companion 3 or 5? how does it sounds compared to mako and s730?...and price in msia if anyone know?....

i watch mako unbox in utube ..but im still in high school...logitech x-540 will be enough for me...cz it hard to get 1k..hheheh...

If u are consider bose companion 3 or 5 . Try z-5500D logitech. It will blast those speaker to hell because of the 10inch sub woofer

but it is 5.1...i would prefer 2.1 only because my room is not that big....but yaaa...z5500 is the best i guess...hurmmm...now im confuse again which one to buy..

its a 5.1 but u can choose how u want the speaker to perform. When listening to music i will let it play thru ASIO for the amazing output quality. When movie i switch the 5.1 on. When music i let it run on 4.1 or 2.1
No regrets. My room not big either. The smaller the better the more amazing the surround sound is\

Some day if have chance u can find someone to demo it i bet watever speaker ure consider getting now will change your mind. Last time my bass made my neighbour two doors away banging on my door because of the bass

my z-5500D is entering its 4th year already still works great. Havent found a speaker to replace my z-5500D yet

As you mentioned your requirement, for 2.1 speaker is only S730 suit you. If place S730 in large living room, I guess you not able to feel the heart pain & mouse pointer shaking but the bass still very very strong !
