Hehe, how's the sound of Denon D2k compared to HD650?

Altho it's really a little bit unfair to compare headphone to speakers, but frankly speaking, I did prefer my Sennheiser HD650 over my Edifier S730D as well for stuff like music listening. I love my speakers no doubt, it's just like I can hear much details on my headphone, and yes, HD650's clarity is still btr than Edifier S730D~ Edifier suxs? Haha, I don't think so, when it comes to movie experience, a speaker will no doubt a btr option than a headphone.

LOL, I don't think distance is the factor that causes the difference, in my opinion HD650 is way btr than a lot of multimedia speakers out there.

Haha, don't get me wrong, what I'm trying to say there is distance is not the factor that causes the diff in sound quality btw the multimedia speakers and the HD650. IMO, HD650 sound will always b btr than those multimedia speakers no matter how you place them

Hmmm, I tot you said you owned both Z5500 and HD650.... but you're not aware of the price? Anyway, The price of HD650 varies depends on where you get them, it can be as cheap as below Rm1k if you got them from overseas or as high as Rm2.2k if you get them locally.

if they really did gv u the HD650 as a gift. May b u r not aware of the price that's why u din noe that HD650 is indeed a very gd cans that needs proper setup to drive it thus it doesn't shine to ur ears.

Anyway, I'm not rich, I collected all the money all by myself little by little to purchase all the item I've owned , not even a single cent from my parents.

Razer Mako selling price is RM1080 now, but if you like powerful bass, I suggest you grab Edifier S730D if you want 2.1 and Edifier S550 if you want 5.1, these speakers are going to shake ur house

I'm not quite sure about the G550W but my fren is using the G500 and I gotta say that it's not that impressive, the Logitech Z5500 is more recommended, better sound than the creative I would say, but they said it gets overheat easily.

Haha, common sense tells that if you get a better soundcard, of coz it will sound better than normal onboard soundcard obviously.

Second that, Edifier S730D is considered one of the best if not, the best within that price range However, you will hv to get a gd SC to pair with it in order for it to shine.

Do try out the Altec Lansing VS4121 as well, it's quite suitable for movie watching.
