Hmm, the Altec spec is very impressive. Feels like it can out perform Z2300 but i'm just guessing. Also noticed it cost about RM250 more than Z2300.

there are some bottleneck of the MX6021 especially the price seem didnt justify the speaker performance. Also noticed it cost about RM250 more than Z2300. get the z-2300 and a good soundcard(if got money, get a better satellite to replace the stock z-2300 satellite) with that combo it'll be much better than mx6021 plus extra bass

Z2300 sats are not to my expectation. Doesnt have that crystal clear quality of Altec while the bass is better than Altec.

I know there's a few sub RM100 2.1 speakers, but the nearest to RM100 is Sonic Gear Evo 3? But is it good? Anyone know any other 2.1 speakers around RM100 mark which is really good compared to its low price? I heard Edifier is great for its subwoofer? But I need something for clarity, 320kbps audio playback, without noise in the background. Least possible

Hmmm, Sonic Gear has very bad reputation for being very low quality. Go for Edifier or Logitech.

Least possible the whole world will laugh at you if you buy sonic gear products (well, maybe us only lol ) but please, don't buy sonic gear because it's not good.

microlab i dont think its very bad. i've read some articles of it being dismantled (check my signature below : MM review). not as bad as sonic gear.
even the sonic gear armageddon a5 uses incomplete PCB board. terrible.
for RM100, edifier M1310 or maybe M1335 is a good choice.
