QUOTE(mdineshp @ May 2 2010, 09:57 PM) You need to register for the e-statement first. Follow the instructions at the e-statement link No. It is not in your e-statement. Since you are using Public Bank PLUS Savings Account, the e-statement service is off-limits to you.Anyway, you can view it in your account transaction history. It takes a few days for debit card purchases to appear in your transaction history, just like credit card. QUOTE(Superkian @ May 2 2010, 09:54 PM) im facing the same problem too man. No. Please check it in your transaction history.im using pb visa D2D,i click hardcopy and e-statement,it state that the function is not available something like that. haiz,i jz open my saving account at pb few days ago. QUOTE(mdineshp @ May 2 2010, 10:06 PM) it's inside the pbebank online page. The e-statement is meant only for Public Bank current account holders. You and Superkian are both using the PLUS Savings Account, hence the service is not available to you guys.Account Inquiry>Statement Request>E-Statement Follow the instructions and request for a TAC. I think we need to wait till end of the month to see the statement as we just registered This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: May 2 2010, 10:10 PM |

I'd say you'll need both. |

It doesn't work like that. The rate you quoted is the buying rate and you should use the selling rate instead. Besides, the exchange rate is based on VISA International exchange rate, not Public Bank foreign exchange board rate. arent the usd1=rm3.19??? is the pb charge like bloodly hell?im 1st time buy the thing from ebay, dont know how exactly it work...damn. Since the VISA International exchange rate is not listed anywhere, one can only guess and it shouldn't fall far from the rates you see in newspaper, TV or in the bank branch. For foreign transactions, there will also be a 1.25% admin charge on top of the foreign currency exchange rate. |

For foreign transactions, there will also be a 1.25% admin charge on top of the foreign currency exchange rate. the thing i bought,USD46=RM150.i know that paypal will charge additional RM3 because the item i bought is less than rm400,so the total should be RM153, and why RM157.5 pb charge me? if the item is more than rm400,it is free from bank withdraw charge. haiz,im so noob...should have buy paypal fund from other ppl with cheaper rate. so the 1.25% admin charge of usd46?that means RM1.88 admin charge? |

It's a win win situation for both the seller and the buyer because to avoid the unnecessary charges / fees. Too bad this forum banned this trading already. p/s: anyone need paypal fund just drop me a PM. |

QUOTE(nanakopy87 @ May 3 2010, 05:16 PM) do this apply to the PB ING mastercard?mastercard is follow the selling rate or the visa international exchange rate you mentioned? It will follow the MasterCard Worldwide exchange rate. QUOTE(Superkian @ May 3 2010, 08:34 PM) oh,damn shit pbe...charge me additional rm8... As i said earlier, the foreign currency exchange rate is set by VISA International, not Public Bank. You will not be able to find the latest VISA International foreign currency exchange rate as it is not publicly published. btw,i pm u.xD By the way, just so we're clear. Did you just withdraw some of your money in PayPal into your PBB D2D VISA debit card or you actually bought something online with the card ? If you just bought something online with the card, then it absolutely had nothing to do with the withdrawal charge imposed by PayPal. QUOTE(Superkian @ May 3 2010, 05:22 PM) oh,i see.so i read the selling rate for currency exchange,usd1=rm3.26 Yes. You will need to factor in the 1.25% admin charge into $46. However, as i have mentioned, you will not be able to find the exact exchange rate VISA is using as the information is not available anywhere. You won't be able to find out the exact exchange rate until it is posted to your account.haiz,im so noob...should have buy paypal fund from other ppl with cheaper rate. so the 1.25% admin charge of usd46?that means RM1.88 admin charge? QUOTE(Superkian @ May 3 2010, 10:03 PM) i check the pbe website, this is pbe d2d card. the e-statement referred to is actually the transaction history. Not the one quoted earlier as that function is strictly for current account only.it state that the e-statement is free while hardcopy is charge for rm1 wo This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: May 3 2010, 11:29 PM |
