Yes I got the Verified by Visa pin already. All transaction except from daily sugar so far requires a Pin.

But i was wondering if transaction can go through without entering a pin then what's the point of having a pin in the first place.

Is there setting or something to compel all transaction needing a Verified by Visa pin?

It is up to that particular online merchant whether or not they offer VbV/MasterCard SecureCode.

they possibly wan earn my RM12 for upgrade to debit card, im requested basic saving account , but it is ok, i no need debit card

Oh ... Basic Savings Account. That is the reason why you get the yellow ATM Card. Public Bank does the same too.

I opt for Option 2 for Basic Saving Acc and get a Debit Card (with Visa logo). No charges, but linited usage.

how to know option 1 or 2, from M2U, option no have annual fees RM8, but i duno mine is which....becoz the staff not friendly

Ok. So their policy is not the same as Public Bank ... so under what circumstances will they issue the yellow ATM card ? Anyone knows ?

Not stated in M2U. I inform the officer and saw her clicked the option at her computer screen. I was expecting the ATM card. Only realised its a debit card since it has Visa Logo.

i think is depend the bank staff wan give u atm or debit card.

TS, 1st post, for alliancebank, besides younique, they also offer:

standard debit mastercard - for current/savings acc
platinum debit mastercard- for current acc (not applicable for islamic acc) with min deposit rm20k
premier debit mastercard - for privilege banking customers only

1.5% cashback (no tier-based!) ALL transaction (even petrol!), capped at rm60/month (first rm4k only).

still, better than pbb esso mobil debit visa that give 1% at esso/mobil only

plus, FREE (got monthly quota) access to plaza premium klia & lcct!

(only, maybe not many people can open acc with min deposit rm20k)

pbb esso debit got no annual fee but alliance debit got. not many ppl afford to apply for it

cannot do online transaction 1 le....though i have the standard debit card, 1% rebate for all transaction, for me is good enough, a lot of forumer's choice is maybank debit card coz of online

oh yeah the annual fee.
alliance plat = swipe rm4k get back rm60.
pbb esso = swipe rm4k get back rm20 (0.5% for non esso/mobil).
diff rm40. minus annual fee still get profit rm28

even swipe rm4k for petrol, pbb esso can get back rm40 only.
alliance after annual fee still get profit of rm2

(OT, for petrol i'm using mbb2 amex)

(OT, i do have maybank visa debit. my purpose for this alliance plat is only for lcct lounge )

which bank offer free annual/service fee same as maybank Cherry Card?and can view my transactions/account through online since i'm under 18..
