Navipanel meant to work only with CoPilot - that's why is not included in Msian /Spore sets However guys at XDA ( juz google ) had managed to get it working with Mapking - you can now doewnload and  installed the navipanel cabfile ; but you need to manually run the program as the carkit is not available in Msia yet. The original  carkit when attached to the phone will auto activate navipanel

this copilot seems like have better interface compare to tomtom i'm using now.
know when will it be available for hd2 and isit reliable?

but the sense ui with the patch seems like not as smooth as the default driver, especially when the weather wallpaper enabled.

that was version 1.0
i deleted 1.0 when i found out that HTC Sense was not smooth after installing it.. But the newer version 1.1 doesn't have this issue. u can just install it and try it urself.. no harm

Until today i never encounter any message stuck or delay so far since day 1 using it, if you doest have such issue i would suggest stay away this fix. this is not a fix, its getting worse.

apparently most users which applied the fix responded that there are no (or no 'noticeable') improvements in terms of sms loading lag or sms send/receive. so no idea where htc is headed with this fix.

so,
camera fix = +1
sms fix = -1

Those who still having problems adapting their fingers to keyboard input , should try SWYPE : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=598633

It is FANTASTIC and I was thoroughly impressed . Now I use it as my standard INPUT - it is only at ver 1.0 and I believe the developer will improve it further. My input efficiency I must say has gone up few hundred percent. It will just take you a few minutes of testing to familiarize. Download the WVGA version only 1.5MB

The fix is more towards ensuring no more SMS stuck at outbox and SMS being sent out immediately. I tested it yesterday few times at the basement car park where signals not so strong (m one bar ) and all sms were sent out immediately without any issues. 2 SMS were sent to UK and 3 to Spore and all reciepients responded recieved within the minute. I have now about 2500 SMS in my unit and contrary to others I do not observe any lag ( if there is any I cannot or did not notice it ), meaning to me is not a issue at all. SMS loadups up very fast within 2-3 seconds .

its not getting worst. this is not a hotfix to fix the sms lag instead to fix the issue where sms are not sent out and stuck inside the outbox. you might not have this issue, but I've encountered this problem before so I think its useful.you might encounter this in the near future too.it took me 2 weeks of usage for this problem to occur

there used to be a thead on modaco for swype, but i believe it has been deleted because my bookmark goes to an empty page. there might be a legal issue using ported swype because its suppose to be bundled software with omnia 2 cdma, and its not freeware.

QUOTE
We see you have re-packaged our software and are distributing it. We are glad to hear that you guys like Swype, but we are obligated to state that we don't condone such activity nor support the result. Naturally those of you asking for new languages and features should wait until we launch a device in your market. Obviously, we won't support unlicensed versions of our software.

One might ask why we don't just release the .cab file ourselves and save everyone the hassle. The reason is that we have spent seven years building Swype and we want to try to make a living selling our software. That means someone needs to pay for it. Thus far, our business model is OEM licensing. We do plan to get to direct-to-consumer distribution but it is a different sort of business and thus it is hard to say when.

In the meantime, enjoy using Swype and please look out for a better, more integrated, and legal version coming soon to a phone near you.

Regards,
The Swype Team

Do not use SKTools to clean up your HD2, or else Hard Reset is required. I got my unit on Sunday since then I have Hard Reset 6 times!. Many of the utilities programs that are suitable for HD are not compatible with HD2. Fortunately I have backup using Sprite Backup. biggrin.gif

I just bought a spare charger, which is similar to Nokia 6500, for just RM28.

bro, wat mean spare charger?? is it spare battery??

nokia chargers for models like 6500 classic and n97 have the same head so it will fit HD2, but jz to be safe, better check the output voltage and current.
