Hi velma,

seems you are quit upset about your current position.... But do you know most posted job descirption here is base in KL? The differ is due to the living std is totally different. How much is a room rent in you location? in KL you are expected to fork out at least RM300 per decent room. In my hometown i can rent whole 2 room house with this rm300. That 's why there is so much different.

Btw, as you mention you were on study load sponsor by your company, well, unfortunately ALL this type of cases have low income cause the company know your are contracted to them so to them they alway tkae the employee for granted. I had lots of friend whom offer study loan by S'pore Gov to study at their Poly, when they graduate they need to work for the Gov for at least 2-3 years and they are paid at very low rate as well.

I hope you will talk you supervisor in this matter personally, if you only awaiting the company to realise their shortcoming, any company IS bad company cause they will think if you dont complain then you are happy with the situation. Since you mention your sale result is that good, i am very sure hte boss will willing to neg with you. Do you sell as many that house every month? To a company consistance is vey impartant.

BTW in any field, 6 months into the job is still very new.

HTH

I dont know how to state this but this is another case where the title been abuse by the market.

IMHO, the actually phase should be "trainee" if you just join the company fresh grad. Unless you can make some sort of decision on behalf of company or signing approval...

Btw "Employment Level : Executive" suddenly make CEO sound punnyl rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

Interesting. It seems that MNC or IT or Oil/Gas are the ones that pay more..

How about local doctors (physicians), lawyers, dentists, physical therapists or local universities professors or researchers? They don't make much?

ACtually going there making less money in long run.

If here you also work 7 days 10-12 hours daily , you can make more very soon and much MORE money down the road too due to career advancement.

Pls do not tempting to go there as long run you are making less money and have lower living quality.

Do you think that a salary grows at a rate which is both constant and consistent?

Dude, you on drugs.
*
Yes, the rate is constant if you work right. if there is no or poor grow rate that's mean you lost the focus already in career building.

Constant 15% annual income grow is the minimum. This should include bonus.

Wow that means I'm just at the bare minimum over my short career so far...

What happens to your 15% minimum when your business didn't grow or didn't make a profit last year? If you're the boss would you take a pay cut to reward employees that are demanding for their 15%?

What happens if at the end of the year, you demand the 15% raise and don't get it. Do you quit and go elsewhere? Is there room for loyalty, personal growth, work-life balance?

I have more questions but it'll have to come later, I have a 15% raise to negotiate with my boss.  biggrin.gif
*
You of course ask for 15% pay increment. But before that make sure you worth it la. How you justify you worth that 15% is depend how work too.

If you do worth that 15% and your boss do not increase your pay, what balance is that? But sometime say your boss do invest in you like attending training etc, those should be consider as increment too.

it's visi versa.

15% would be nice but its not constant.  Otherwise, a top perfomer starting at 10K, after 10 years would be on 30K plus.  It defintaely flattens out.

very easy for you to say.....oops...i'm talking to a monkey.

LOL, somehow you are monkeying yourself too wink.gif

Once your cousin is over the houseman period, he can easily earn up to rm8000 a month. If he does continued to advance himself to specialist field such as O&G, cardiologist or radiologist, his earning would easily above rm35k.

FYI, typical radiologist earn up to rm45k-70k per month and a cardiologist is up to rm10k-rm45k per DAY.

Ya wanna banana? cool.gif whistling.gif
