Do you think that a salary grows at a rate which is both constant and consistent?

Dude, you on drugs.

You of course ask for 15% pay increment. But before that make sure you worth it la. How you justify you worth that 15% is depend how work too.

If you do worth that 15% and your boss do not increase your pay, what balance is that? But sometime say your boss do invest in you like attending training etc, those should be consider as increment too.

it's visi versa.

15% would be nice but its not constant. Otherwise, a top perfomer starting at 10K, after 10 years would be on 30K plus. It defintaely flattens out.

I'm an IB for ML. Salary is too gross to mention here but lets say I can buy a 3 series per month.

Bonus can be upwards to 4000%

YES!! finally i see some KEYWORDS that i wanna see here...

how many years experience? what qualifications that you need? what do you do?
*
5 years. Preferably commercial law, but honestly anything will do. You just need to be the best.
Investment banks target excellence in both character and ethics. Meet an investment banker and you will see 90% are of the same pedigree.

Hedge Funds.

I don't think you're in Malaysia, right? Malaysia is just too small for Hedge Funds, and let's say if you're in the States, a 3 series is a lot more affordable over there.

Correct me if I'm wrong though  smile.gif

You are smart. HAHA. Though clients exist everywhere now.

But I'll admit that an Investment banker is nothing more than a glorified salesman. Commissions are the same, the difference being sales worth $US30K for a car, $US5Mil plus on a fund. Do the math.
