yes indeed its not a good idea if you wanna come here working illegally for long run. I am not going to work here for the rest of my life ofcourse....working for maximum 5 years, got enough money, then I will go back to malaysia to develop my empire...

netfan, yes ofcourse i wish to pay tax, thge reson is if I pay tax i will get the national insurance number, if I get the national insurance number I can apply a better job,better salary, buy a car etc just like normal people, but since theres to many illegal working here, the government restricted the law for immigrant to be granted as a British citizen, I once try to apply for student visa, (I use tourist visa to come here but now its expired), but they said I need to go back to malaysia to conduct an Interview, and thats still not 100% sure got one, they also need you to have certain qualification in order to become citizen like your education , salary etc.

IMO cab driver can earn damn good money...just count how many tourist go to london each year, a distance like from sunway to kl they charge around 70- 80 pound,crazyy.

well f1meteor... I always wish I got a malysian friend here and not one of those retard malaysian.if you wish to come here, do all the home work 1st, dont become like me come here just like that, may be you can apply working permitt, or student visa instead of become illegall.

I would go for food business. Just open one hawker stall - post retirement work. Small modal, not so much pressure, can earn basic income. You have the choice to decide what time to open, which meal to open work (breakfast, lunch, or dinner).

If your dish is tasty, you can earn more than you expect.
