Personally, i think that PL50 design looks much nicer than PL30. More elegant and tiny

Only some hard to find songs are in MP3s 192-320kbps (lame). is it ok? i'm only using onboard soundcard though... the best i can afford currently is probably a Fiio E5 (even then i'd have to delay paying my college fees)

A question to those alessandro's MS1i owners out there. Talk about mobility/portability, how do you guys bring about the headphone around in public with the thick cable dangling around? How do you guys prepare the headphone for a stroll around the city?
My first day has been okay so far, just that it has been a duty to actually make sure the cables are organised. Also, is the Alessandro's MS1i build a little bit shaky, it feels like i can easily move about the cans if you know what i mean?

im baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. lol =_=
just sold off my m30 today. shit. then tried the hd228 @ machines again. saw the price tag wrongly. i thought it was rm218. but it was 289. sucks to be me.
now im hunting for another headphone , all i want is .. great sound and VERY COMFORTABLE for all ear sizes , comfortable enough to wear it for 4-6 hours...
tried HD228 but the soundstage aint that wide , the bass is fine tho , and a little bit more clarity compared to ath-m30 ...
heard alot of people talking about ad300~ad700 , but i dont know whether it suits me or not , im not gonna rush it again , wasted money already...
anyone knows where to test most of the "hot" audio technica or sennheiser headphones?

I don't use open headphones in public, it's too noisy outside to be able to enjoy the from the headphone at all. I use canalphones instead and it's much more portable and easier to store in a small case. The sound from a cheap canalphones are better than my ksc-75 too when i tried to use it outside since the canalphones isolates the ambience noise. Remember to be careful when setting the volume, sometimes it's hard to realize you're using it too loud especially when there's ambience noises. Headphones/earphones are more damaging to the ear than speakers at the same volume.
