hello guys , i am currently finding a HEADphone for myself but i have no experience in that whatsoever , any good recommendation?
my budget is around rm 300~400
usage is for 70% music and 30% gaming
and i hope the design isnt that bad either , cause sometimes maybe i want to use it outdoors
firstly i wanted to get steel series Siberia / senheiser hd555
but those are quite old tech , released at least 5 years ago , and i read comments from internet saying their quality for music is so-so.
any recommendation will be greatly appreciated , thanks in advance =X
***i wear spectacles and i want a headphone that provide comfort even after hours of usage. i have experienced some which makes your ear irritated after a few hours.
and i want to use it to listen music through my phone , so theres no ultra sound cards in my phone. any one with good sound w/o good sound card? and very good with sound card? (ill sometimes use it for pc too)
i dont want to buy an amp also , and i want it to be ultra comfy!

i dont really care about the noice cancelling , i want the best quality for my money! so still recommending audio techinca m30?
is it better than quietcomfort 2? i read the reviews , they said the cost of production all went into the noise cancelling feature.. i doubt ill take it out often anyways , so noise cancelling is not that important. i want any one that can beat the quality of this at least..

the reviews for ath m30 says the headband is a little tight , which may squeeze your ear after prolonged use.. is that true? my ears are slighty bigger than average..
heard that m50 needs amp to unleash full potential , (i dont plan to buy amps)
but Q40 instead dont really need amp to have a decent sound. correct? @.@ got it from the forums

bought my ath-m30. for rm199. (went with my instinct lol, didnt test the headphone at all) dont know if its worth or not , after 1 hour or so , my ear starts to get a little irritated because of the headphone pressing against the tip of my ear , and its kind of heaty cause of the earpads material , any advices or ways to make it a slightly more comfortable headphone?

im baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. lol =_=
just sold off my m30 today. shit. then tried the hd228 @ machines again. saw the price tag wrongly. i thought it was rm218. but it was 289. sucks to be me.
now im hunting for another headphone , all i want is .. great sound and VERY COMFORTABLE for all ear sizes , comfortable enough to wear it for 4-6 hours...
tried HD228 but the soundstage aint that wide , the bass is fine tho , and a little bit more clarity compared to ath-m30 ...
heard alot of people talking about ad300~ad700 , but i dont know whether it suits me or not , im not gonna rush it again , wasted money already...
anyone knows where to test most of the "hot" audio technica or sennheiser headphones?
