Shoe care time! Some casual shoes this time, so my humble apologies, I know it doesn't match the definition of this thread.

Been using my boat shoes every night for the past 2 months so they've gotten a bit banged up.


My weapons of choice for today.


I applied the dubbin by hand, rubbing it in until my fingers are hot, then push down on the scratches with the bone folder.


And scratches look much better now. Darker than the rest of the shoe, but it adds some character no?

Good tip. I think the Woly fashion cream has quite the same effect.

Woly Fashion Cream contains silicone, which is not great for leather. I gave mine away....sticking with my Saphir cremes for now.

In any case, my shoe is made out of a waxy pull up leather. Never tried creme on this kind of leather before. I have a feeling it will gunk up the surface, but I might try some day.

Would like to share the outcome. Rushing for work and can't find a place to take nice pix, nonetheless, here you go.

Was at the Armoury in HK yesterday. Prices are quite a bit steeper than the price you'd get if you buy online eh? A pair of Carmina there goes for HKD 3500 whereas you could get one for HKD 2800 from the Carmina website. Here I was thinking that the prices could be competitive since HK is duty and sales tax free (I think).

hmm these are one of the more subtle rick piece i own. wear them with cropped dress pants, wear them with drop crotch joggers, wear them with pod shorts, or tuck your waxed memphis jeans into them..
