Hey!yeah extremely pleased.used them to restore shoes that my dad inherited to me.just some clarks,bally and loakes but the sentimental value is there so want the best for them

i believe zeve is blake stitched.talked to the owner, young guy and doesn't really know what specific name his shoe construction is called.he only said his shoes are 'gam dan jahit' so blake stitched?

also asked him if i can send back any of his shoes if the soles wore out. he said no need because its synthetic leather sole

honestly,i had better luck with tomrichshoes if you are looking to make cheap-ish shoes,their GYW start from 700 but they only do MTO now.

New in this, and the thread is huge. So I'd like to ask, is cream really necessary? As far as my reading tells me, it functions to preserve the color and the conditioning effects are debatable. No it would not but people use cream polish for the patina and covering up any scuffs.

If you are only looking to protect the shoes then get a netural conditioner and wax polish for use on areas that are prone to scuffs (heel and toes).The conditioner they sell in Clark stores is pretty good.Yellow colour

Light brushing and condition once in a while

Not likely unless you expose your shoes to the sun 12 hours a day for months at a time but I do notice than in lower priced shoes, they tend to have a more 'muted' colour while higher ranges have that natural shine to them so some polish would help bring out some colour in them

I would even suggest getting a pair of black polished binder leather shoes, a well constructed one of course in case you need a maintenance free shoe.
