yes,upgradable by yourself,but not now..wait till it's out.hehe~
jet is samsung ui based,OII is Winmo based, highly customizable.
OII do not lag, samsung UI itself lag.mayb future firmware will fix that.
anyway, there's always 3rd part UI that u can use like SPB/PointUI.
*
is there any word on when is the official release of win mobile 6.5 update for OII?

you don't have to use the Samsung software for that but i assume it doesn't hurt also , just copy to the storage through windows explorer.

Yea i do too and it is useful , if it was just a bit faster and I could add one more page to home screen , that would have been better.
But it is good for me now.....

Pros:
- Overall seems smoother.
- WiFi, GPRS, MMS all working.
- Application Store is back but not working in my locale. (May already appear in previous version, due to I select EE which not included)
- The logo show correctly when not connecting to internet.
- New program call "Rich Internet"
- Copy contact from SIM to Phone is Speedy now!
- Add files in Samsung Media Player is faster now!
- The WiFi continue ON even plugin to PC (not working on previous IJ1 version)

Cons
- Still RAM eater, doubt temporary at the moment not much changer already.
- Windows Default - Today plugin keep showing as London, Dublin nor-matter how I set the clock. ** Fix below
**On back the Samsung Widget Plus and then pull out the dual clock setting, and change the 1st clock which is London to your locale. Done!

*** Overall I recommended this IJ3 than previous IJ1, it is more speedy and stable.

Attached with 2 photos taken using I8000XXIJ3 firmware.
Now is really late already, so temporary only have 2 indoor photos. More will come shortly (maybe tomorrow):

all these firmware are from the modaco.com site, its not official.
it's compatible with all sets, just that some local functions such as language might be missing.

this version is IJ3 by panateo. Not a bad version, better than IJ1 by Secany, but Secany gonna upload IJ5 soon.

Do read more urself here: http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...anys-i8000-rom/

my review LOVING IT. U should get it ... however if you never had WinMobile Phone you might not get it , if you had than get this cause it doesn't get any better than this in my opinion , gorgeous big screen , a good camera , and it is fast , plus it is win mobile which means highly customizable ,

Yes from him.

If problem send it back to him. Why do you ask? =x

Anyways, anyone here using Invisible shield? How is it? I'm planning to get one.

Good seller. Friendly. He even helped to send the phone to my office and some other special handling I requested. Thumbs up.

I tried using it but it makes the phone cheap as the shield has a slightly yellowish tinge and the shield edges collects dirt.
Also, the front screen protector is a little too tacky, slightly difficult to use the touch screen.

Right now the best combination for me is:-
1. Invisible Shield for O2 but only use back plate
2. Matter Screen Protector
3. Slim leather case (Either black or white)
Black
White

It makes the phone real classy.

I already ordered a silicon case for it. PDair to be specific. Thinking of not using Invisible shield.

And where can I get the matte screen protector?
