how is the Phone GPS ??

I was planning to buy it , but I heard it has major GPS problem , i heard it is very slow to get a signal ?? can install Garmin XT

from the current users I want to ask is it true ...??

any other reason not to get this phone , it is quite expensive so i want to be very sure before I buy it...??

it seems like a nice phone i played with it in the shop.

I click on Update , than I click on Update Device , than I Choose my phone from Device list , than it gives error says the device not supported what should i do ???

cannot get GPS maps on it , I can install garmin no problem , but the maps don't work Haihzz... any tips ??

No it is not the same concourse as Harvey Norman... it is in the blue concourse , same concourse in J.Co Donuts if you guys like donuts you know where, and also same concourse as Italia Pasta Shop or something like that...

if u happen to go there to ask for price or anything and the guy comes , if he give you the same price as me , tell him you cheat my friend already i am not going to buy from you.


I already install the support file , and the base map , but after i log in and i also install the MalSing Map set , and than when I open the software it says no map...

okay fair enough ... I was blinded by Omnia II's beauty... I am at fault ...

anyway thanks for the tip i try copying .img file to garmin folder however .there are two garmin folder , one is on the device , another one in the storage card which one should i put there , hopefully not the device memory it is too small ??

well i learnt my lesson , the course cost me almost RM 400 hahha...

what is the Map ID should i get it from Garmin website ?
it is all north america and europe I don't see any malaysia or south east asia??

One more question can somebody recommend a good Keyboard , like the new HTC keyboards in Diamond II ??

well I just dragged them to the storage and started playing them using the Touch Player , there is no need for conversion , it supports Divx, you just update the touch player library after you imported the files and start playing them , or you can go through file manager.

is there any word on when is the official release of win mobile 6.5 update for OII?

Yea i do too and it is useful , if it was just a bit faster and I could add one more page to home screen , that would have been better.
But it is good for me now.....

U should get it ... however if you never had WinMobile Phone you might not get it , if you had than get this cause it doesn't get any better than this in my opinion , gorgeous big screen , a good camera , and it is fast , plus it is win mobile which means highly customizable ,

Just enter the IMEI number only don't put that middle line ... just put the numbers in sequence.

how do I make my phonebook in Omnia II to show the first name first than show the last name ? where is the setting for that ???

by default it is last name first , I am not used to it.
