yes on the lens..why cannot?if on d90 or others body can it change to 1.8f?

high iso is almost unacceptable anyway, a lot of new d3000 owner here so this is not a good thing to say,
And yes, nikon and canon are totally different in character smile.gif , good or bad base on yourself.

the try go for M mode

f 1.8 = max aperture 1.8 smile.gif

ah... for me even got noise at high iso... it doesn't matter(don't know others)... what you paid is what you get, right???....(if dont want noise at high iso, buy d3s....so powerful in high iso...heheheh gurau je...)

i dont suggest u play wif the guide fuction...it slowly kill ur talent...
its true..
try play with auto 1st...then slowly play with shutter/aparature...

ISO control good good already, but still, until now, i felt the flash really is a must !!

yea if u bump into alot of low iso requirement area, flash is a must have items in your bag brows.gif

dont use auto
start with manual mode,although at first will feel difficult
but after trial and error
u will get what u want ! xp

what's ur favourite mode?

mine is M, and followed by A and S. never really use auto often. just doesn't feel satisfied using auto mode. i will use auto when i'm in a situation whereby i need to shoot something quick. don't have the time to adjust aperture etc.
