It doesn't only mean D3000 is weak in night shot,you are limited to use faster shutter speed because the compensation room from the ISO sensitivity is inferior than others DSLR.

The Rm400+ version is the one without built-in-motor.. It's called AF-D i think..

ya,it is without motor,i scare i cnt master manual focus also,haha
yet pocket still tight cox just have my flash only,lol

for primes its easier to master manual focusing
if for zooms, it'll be harder to manual focus cause you gotta manage the zooming and the focusing

I've tried using 50 f/1.4 AIS before on my body. MF. It's difficult but it's cool to try to master focusing like how those old school did!

just want to ask i just bought a 50mm 1.8d and using it with d60...there is 1.8f then 2.2f why i cant used it?if i change to 1.8f.it says i need to used higher F...

are u able to take picture ,or still got warning?

even i put it to auto then i change it to 1.8f it says the same thing..i only can used it 22f.lower than that it came out that message..if 22f then no prob..i can take picture..
