The good lecturers at the not do good unis will benefit the most. The better unis will tie you down on a several years contract. A transfer market in play. Hopefully the higher pay will attract better academician and practitioners to share their knowledge.

Medicine in RCSI anyone?

"...our experience has shown that students who obtain two A and two B grades in their exams are considered eligible for a place in RCSI, subject to a motivational interview. DIFC will assist you in preparing for this interview...."

For UK studies, any advice to purchase books here or there assuming list of rec books available.

Kamal opposite KLGH have 'cheap' testbooks. They look like original, but many are 'reproductions'....

Buying online usually also come out cheaper than buying at the usual uni bookstores....

what to buy, best to talk to seniors of each uni.....there will be differences from uni to uni.....

Each university will have their own recommended textbooks. You can check out the titles, then perhaps check prices on amazon.co.uk or bookdepository.co.uk and locally, Kamal (is this right). There are also very cool apps on iPad, apparently,

Hahaha unfortunately I'm a fresher too! Seniors have repeatedly drummed into my head that first sem is all about basic biology and told me not to buy the current biology texts as apparently we'll never touch them again after this sem.

Am currently living off lecture notes on moodle smile.gif

Oh. Hi coursemate then biggrin.gif

Kinda nervous because Dr Lakshmi (our anatomy queen) kept on mentioning about books and all. Will probably get Gray's and the colour atlas first.
