Do you get Tunetalk VoWIFI or WIFI Calling added to the behind Tunetalk name? I am using iPhone 13 iOS 15.8, I have already enabled 4G VoLTE and VoWIFI and restarted several times, even when I connected to the home WIFI, it still showed the "TuneTalk" name only, any thought?

Let’s try to switch on the airplane mode and see?
Because some telco will only show Wi-Fi Calling after the signal is off or weakening.

Nothing happened On/Off airplane mode and there is still no new WiFi Calling word added to the behind carrier name.
There was no issue with Maxis Hotlink VoWiFi after I switched to Tunetalk a few days ago.

The Tunetalk customer service told me that VoLTE was not activated, the 4G VoLTE and VoWiFI were already enabled on my device,
On my device, I see the 4G signal is running, I am able to use 4G high-speed data outside of the home Wi-Fi network.

Try make a call and check will the signal change from 4G to 2G.

If VoLTE workings, your 4G will remain even you make a call.

Hi Guys,

Sorry if off topic. I just picked up a Halo telco sim card which the packaging says is “dengan kerjasama TuneTalk”.

The sim uses TuneTalk’s line. However, i realize that once i put it in, i cant activate iMessage and Facetime on my iPhone.

So my question is, does TuneTalk support iMessage / Facetime? Or is it a limitation of Halo Telco themselves?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I can make a 4G call, but the Tunetalk customer said no VoLTE running, that's weird!!!!
I have two iPhones on Tunetalk with the same issues.

I have 2 prepaid Tunetalk lines and both cannot active iMessage on the mobile numbers. The activation process will just hang forever. I have given up trying to fix it, and expect to switch to another telco when the validity expires.

Have a few questions about physical sim card vs e-sim. FYI mine is physical sim card which I've never replaced

1. Let's say my phone is stolen or simply lost. Can I report it to Tunetalk & ask them to deactivate that one & issue me a replacement with the same number?

2. Following from #1, will the replacement be a physical sim card or an e-sim? Is there a choice?

3. If my phone is not on the e-sim compatible list, can I still get a replacement physical sim card for the same number? How/where do I do that?

4. When I send my phone for repair, I will take out my sim card. What can I do if I have e-sim?

TQIA

1. Yes, presumably after police report paper and with a fee. RM10?
2. Should be able for you to choose which you want.
3. Following #2, if your phone not e-sim compatible, please let the staff know you want physical sim.
4. My guess would be erase the sim from phone and get a new e-sim QR code after repair is done to be readded to phone.

In the past, I change my TuneTalk SIM by buying a new TuneTalk SIM nearby, then FB chat with TuneTalk on the procedure to change over from old SIM to new SIM .. all via FB Chat. Very simple but not sure if this is still possible. Once I change was due to the RM0.50 credit deduction SMS issue as advised by TuneTalk FB. Chat with them on FB Chat.

No speed cap, depends on area. Only 10gb quota limit.
