whatever it is, I'll just topup on the 364th day... even after 365 days, we never loose the credit... they just not active (ie not valid) to make calls/SMS... once top-up, can use all credit for DataTATA plan if the VIBE200 promo is over by next year.... Or better still, once reach the 360th day, gonna buy the RM10 for 1 year validity and subscibe to DataTATA if the VIBE200 promo is over by then...

They will send two SMSes...

once at 90% usage of 20GB... the second one on the 100% usage.... the 1st SMS is the warning to tell you that you should buy the RM15 for 2GB add-on.... on my case, I never ever able to finish 20GB for 1 month (unless they never throttle Magnet/Torrent/P2P/etc....)

New number with new SIM get 300MB FREE data bucket (15 days validity).

Port-in online with RM30 topup get :
1) 300MB (less than 15 days validity) +
2) 4GB (another separate 15 days validity) FREE data bucket.
3) FREE RM15 credit due to FREE 50% top up promo.
4) Delivery cost is FREE too.

The problem with Port-in online is we are forced to buy RM30 (that's the minimum value) topup & waiting for the new SIM is PITA...you may opt to pickup the SIM yourself at TT HQ near Bukit Damansara...





I have finished the 300MB data bucket (in less than 7 days) & now enjoying the 4GB FREE data bucket for the next 15 days (after sent FD30 to 2222 which cost us 10 Sen .... Should be free USSD code... Very stingy this TT....).

I'll subscribe to VIBE200 once 4GB finished or 15 days is over whichever comes first...current credit in account is RM44.90 due to that silly FD30 request...

Data performance in Shah Alam area is above average. At least more than my expectation for now....hopefully this scenario will maintain for the next 365 days...

Most dealers are helpless... "Majority" of them are clueless on how to do the Port-in request.... They just know how to sell brand new SIM pack...Very surprising in deed...

I went to 3 different "small" dealers and they are all not helpful... End up porting myself via online website (using just my phone summore...LOL)... Better go straight to TT HQ at Bukit Damansara if you will...

For offline Port-in, no need to top up... Just use the 300MB FREE data bucket enough...

Once the 300MB finished and AFTER successfully ported in the number, then straight subscribe the Vibe200 promo using credit/debit card...

I prefer to top up RM30 to enjoy 50% FREE top up promo (ie RM15 FREE credit... But validity still 30 days coz RM1 top up equals 1 day validity...) That's why I just do it myself online and now having RM44.90 credit balance...once my 15 days 4GB data is over, will subscribe to Vibe200 to enjoy 365 days validity... So my RM44.90 is valid/active for 365 days and will use it for emergency calls and SMS...

I didn't wait for the PosLaju.. I picked up the SIM card myself at their HQ becoz I have an appointment nearby that day... When I was there, my SIM card is already in the PosLaju parcel.

At the moment, "NO"....



The same goes for add-on Voice (RM15 & RM30) and add-on 2GB (RM15)... So, no need to worry about auto-renewal or bill shock scenario...

Vibe200 is NOT auto-renew (in the sense of "paying")....but auto-renew in the sense of data allocated every month.....

Say, we buy the Vibe 200 on 1st Dec, the 20GB will expire on 31st Dec.... on 1st Jan, another brand new 20GB is allocated for the whole month of January... no need to re-new, no need to send any SMS, no need to worry about bill-shock...even if our credit has ZERO amount in the account, the 20GB will still continue every month.....it's more like Prepaid service system... pay 1st the whole 240GB at one go in advanced, and enjoy 20GB/month non-stop (for 12 months...)

The only scenario we need to worry is, IF the 20GB is exhausted BEFORE 30 days, it will continue as P-A-Y-U plan (1MB = 3sen aka 10MB = 30 sen) to consume whatever credit we have in the account. And if credit is ZERO, no data connection AT ALL!!!(hence need to wait for next month 20GB fresh re-start). This is where the risk of losing data connection and bill-shock will come in if we don't limit our monthly data (upload + download) within 20GB... But, upon reaching 90% of 20GB, TT will send a warning SMS to remind us that we need to either buy Add-On data (RM15 for 2GB; expensive to me...) or be very cautious when reaching 19.5GB.... Becareful though, once we have activated the Vibe200 plan, we cannot subscribe to the DataTATA plan anymore.... that's why they provide the Add-On RM15 for 2GB "emergency" plan within VIBE packages....

Subscribed to VIBE Plan, cannot subscribe to DataTATA...

Subscribed to DataTATA Plan , cannot subscribe to VIBE....

Need to choose one "plan" at a time....

On my case, 20GB / month is enuff for my usage (75% audio/video streaming, 20% browsing, 5% Google Maps/Waze)

Conclusion : Vibe200 is for dual-SIM smartphone ... Put Vibe200 on SIM1 for data access while SIM2 is for unlimited calls from main Telco...combo of U-Mobile & TT is the cheapest (?).... While coverage(s) is/are subjective altogether...



VIBE200 + Hero P38 + 6% GST
= (RM16.67 + RM38) x 1.06
= RM57.95 / month

Wow... there are lots of nice VVIP numbers in TuneTalk database.... a combo of ABA-CCDD-ABA is mine edy...LOL...

Key in our preferred last 4 digit & the system will list out top 10 numbers matching our last 4 digit... Similar process like other telcos...

If you only register new SIM, we won't be able to choose the VVIP number...

It's in the TT Self-Care website... which means, once we have bought a dummy TT number/new registration, we can override this dummy number with VVIP number....

Good guess... Very unfortunate scenario, right? It was beyond my control... Let's see if I'll come back on January promo soon...
