just ported in from yoodo (rip yoodo).. one of the cheapest plan .. seems internet was ok speed but not the best.
*
I ported in from Yoodo a few days back now only RM20 plan. Planning to change it to RM99/yearly plan but wondering how is the data speed for yearly plan. This is my backup line. anything like 15Mbps is already good for me

seems like that plan has some speed cap to it searching past messages here
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=109578135

t&c does mention video streaming is capped to 360p...

I also port out 1 Yoodo number to Epik 20. This Epik 20 doesn't have 5g I think, only Epik 45 specifically mentioned unlimited 5g according to their website.
Btw what is the grace period of TT prepaid after plan expiry?

i see, but it's ok not like im using tunetalk for my internet... since TT internet is not so reliable anyway... just due to cheapest plan and got longevity plan.

Grace period for most telco i think 60 days rite?

For me the longevity plan not attractive as only free call to tunetalk users. I subscribe the cheapest epik plan just for the unlimited calls.
For grace period, I found out it is 45 days. Source: https://www.tunetalk.com/ms/support/help-ce...0your%20account.

Does Tunetalk validity can be extended and follow subscribed plan?
For example if topup rm20 the validity is 20 days, and then I subscribe the call 20 plan, will the validity extend to 30 days?

Hi fellows, may i check if TT still has the 365 Days validity available? I got this link via google but i could not find it from the website of TT and wondering if it's still available?

If available, if i am to MNP from other teclo, upon selecting MNP, it required me to at least MNP to any of the list, EpikCall 20, Epik35, Epik5G 45, Epik50, Tahunan 99, Tahunan 200. Should i MNP to EpikCall 20 and then purchase an addon of 365 Days validity?

Yes, it is still available.
Actually there is a small and tiny link at the bottom (after Tahunan 200 package), which written "I just need a SIM". Click and select RM10 Top Up value. You can proceed to pay, instead of paying RM20 for EpikCall 20.
Hope you manage to read this reply.

The current updated plan is Epik. However I suggest you check on TT website and do comparison before changing plan.

I signed up an account on TT website and bought an eSIM to switch over.
Received the email with eSIM barcode.
Downloaded the TT app.

Problem.
1. Cannot login with the mobile, "invalid mobile number".
2. Activate SIM
- Switch to TT.
- Port in - enter the phone number and select telco
- Select SIM type - eSim
- Scan eSim QR code
- Choose a new number ????

I am porting in, why need to chose a new number ?

Hi all, has anyone subscribe to Best Basic 28 plan? On the webpage (https://www.tunetalk.com/prepaid/pek-jimat/) it says 30GB base quota (no restriction on hotspot). But someone told me it is unlimited bandwidth.

Is it 30GB or unlimited? What does it say on the app when you have already subscribed? And how's the speed?

the port in process is weird and confusing

firstly, I think you need to lookup the order with the number you placed the order on the website with

eg, I used my main to place said order, so i first use the look up button to find said order that was placed on the website
then, you will see the order and an option to activate it
activate it, and then it will do e-kyc and start the porting process
in the meantime, you will still end up with a random new number
after port in is processed then it changes to your number

Tunetalk process is like that. You will get a new temporary number. After you complete the EKYC process, in the app go to more>extra service, then choose switch to Tunetalk. Submit your request and wait for port out SMS.

yeah you have to send exactly "PortOut Yes [number]"

and just give it some time, you will receive one last SMS from U Mobile thanking you for using them and immediately after that SMS arrives the connection ends and you lose signal

(at least in my experience a few years back)
