Q : Ryzan aka budak tadika, when u use flash, the bugs don't feel annoyed ka ? tak lari ke ? huhu

I thought the advantages of A700 over other entry model was discussed over and over?

I m A200 user. Some *excuse* For me to get A700 ?

1. It has a EXMOR CMOS sensor.. Much lower noise than CCD.
2. More solid build.. A200 too small for me, hand pain if hold it for very long time.
3. More buttons.. I like those function to be accessed from button rather than search thru a menu. - Quick change of Focusing / metering / AFMF mode
4. custom setting - fast change of custom setting for different occation (newbies like me like to do experiment, but wan fast switching back the usual setting)
5. DOF preview button - not exist on A200-A380
6. Faster focusing
7. Better VG (duplicate most the button, and the joystick, It will save u when ur other button are faulty)
8. 5 level of DRO (I rarely use DRO, so this does not matter to me)
9. Environmental seal ?
10. grip sensor & Eyestart AF. (non EU version)
and the list go on..

Hai.... when is sony going to release A550 n A850..so long.....continue delay Alphians later going to jump ship loh..... this morning just get news tat a fellow Alpha r letting go all Alphas & jump ship.. saying A700 still not fullfilling enough...

6. Faster focusing ... 11-point AF sensor system (ie faster autofocusing & higher accuracy) with a dedicated new AF sensor (boosting focusing precision) for F2.8 aperture or larger... as opposed to 9-point AF for A2x0 / A3x0

Guys,i've a problem with my a200. Whenever i set a focus point and my palm always accidentally pressed another focus point when i'm focusing especially in portrait style. Is there any solution to it?

nickilala: A lot of smashpOp's pictures are not edited. You can get that kind of color out of the A700 or any Alpha. He's my colleague and I know we both edit a lot less than before (from the A100 days.)

Any Alpha can give you that kind of color. Set to Vivid if it's not enough, and learn how to set your White Balance specifically.

my 18-70mm lense got prob
the focus is stuck and produce sound
look like something stuck in it
or just send it to the shop?

send to service center next to Mid Valley...i saw someone have the same problem as well

just a snapshot...lol..too long never shoot anything..jsut to remind myself where is my shutter button =)

ur lens's gear stripped already, normal problem for those who really utilize the lens.. send to SC for warranty lah...
