If u bought at Sony Center, then u have send it back to the original SONY Center, or ANY SONY SERVICE CENTER / SONY STYLE. Other SONY CENTER might changed you handling fees.
Lasttime i my lens also have this problem. I send it together with my camera (Must bring both together as the lens warranty is covered by the camera body) They help me to repair. I found out the lens is more smooth when I zoom in / zoom out.
