As i mentioned earlier, and got an answer, but i would like to double confirm before i start ordering online hehe..

Pictures below are of my dads old nikon camera, theres actually a few more tele lens kept in other boxes.. have to dig thru.. but u get the jist..

just wanna double confirm that the adapter from here for nikon to sony could actually fit in these old lenses..

i mean , i dont know how new the technology goes to be, i dont know if the new technology of dslr cams will let the old lenses fit etc etc.
any help is appreciated..

@ Killerz622 : yea, will do a review on it when i buy it =), seems like very little people has experience with it but i did try to mount it on my dads nikon d40, got limitations.. must set the aperature to the lowesr before it allows you to shoot it.. will try to play with it more later then i can see if its worth buying the adapter..

Killerz622: For Nikkor AF-D lenses you need to set the aperture ring to F22 (or whatever aperture is marked in orange color) to allow the Nikon body to control aperture.

yea i saw online got a few.. but.. i dont have paypal acc.. im more of a cod person .. i see it i buy it.. i wanna go see a few shops listed at alphanatics to check out if they have the adapter or not..

imo, i dunno la, if its just me, but sometimes, i feel that there is a need for the AF mode. I tried shooting in manual mode, abit tedious, but if used right, the picture turns out great...

Question, if the lenses, left unused for like maybe 5-6 years, it collected the sticky dust on the lens, with a dab of water also hard to remove the dust.. how to clear it ah? or is it better to send to the center to serivce it for me?
I prefer cleaning it myself la.. im a stingy person..

not sure yet.. dunno if really wanna go for true macro lens..

btw, i'm still using 1870Z and 55200G

play with WB..increase vibrancy in creative style/PP....use CPL....find a really blue sky  =D

Killerz622: As I said earlier, you want a blue sky, you have to wait for one! A CPL can only boost a blue sky, but it cannot make a dull grey sky into a blue one.

nickilala: That depends on the shot.

For example, when you shoot a scene under a tree (shaded) it will look blue-ish. This is correct as the color IS actually slightly blue.

However, if you want it to look like it was under sunlight, set the WB to Daylight and your leaves will appear a rich green color.

Also, if you shoot under tungsten light, it will look orangey (which is the true color of the light, just that your brain 'removes' it) but you can set to Tungsten WB to remove the orange tone.

personal experience, i sent my A700 for servicing at North Point MV the other day. The warranty proof that they look for is the cash sale receipt that you get from the shop that you bought from.. even the warranty extension card does not count as a proof of purchase... this is the case when you did not register your product online at the website stated above by the others.

*i wasted 3 months warranty coz didnt register online within 7 days of purchace T.T so instead of 15 mths, i only got 12 mths from date of purchase*
