any xx-200 lenses below 500? other than the sal 55-200? Many..Sony 75-300..tamron 70-300..sigma 70-300..KM75-300..but 2nd hand la.. But my recommendation still 55-200..fast..and sharp..if plus raynox Tamron 70-300 got macro 1:2 and 0.95 minimum focus so if pair with raynox also good..it struggle in low light but you will not use af if with raynox so it will ok.. budget2 macro =P BTW, the sky today is hazy.. i was thinking, if i go to places that has mountains and becomes so hazy.. it kills the pictures la.. other then using polarizing filter, photoshop cannot edit out the hazyness kan? polarizing filter expensive ka? CPL cannot kill the haze...it is true it can give more blue in ur pic..but not that effective to kill the haze.. When using CPL..shutter speed become less as less light enter ur camera.. However it will give some nice colour and the contrast also become better.. Depending on ur lens diameter CPL can cost from RM80-3xx. Bought mine RM 120 for my 62mm lens is there any cheap UV filter like cheap as in RM20? wanna use it as a protector and also to create the "dreamy" look.. by putting vaseline or oil =P i reaallyy wanna try it after reading it out somewhere... |

QUOTE(nickilala @ Sep 4 2009, 10:24 PM) Those tables they sell are proper pro set ups. IIRC about rm600 cheapest. U can actually set up ur own for very cheap oni. Go book shop get some cheap white plastic sheets for few dollars. Go Ikea buy 2 of the fluorescent table lamps for rm50 each, kautim. Of course not so nice but then for rm100 cant complain much lor. Those tables u buy oredi havent count lights sumore. By the time u add those pro lights it's gonna cost at elast rm1000 i think. |

QUOTE(marushin @ Sep 4 2009, 12:44 AM) Haha handling both gear at the same time is not easy! Speaking about CPL, I notice my cheap Hoya CPL tends to make my photos a tad softer. Apart from all the elimination of glare, deeper blues and greens, better looking clouds etc, basically the camera is shooting through an extra piece of glass, so I guess quality of the filter does matter a lot. |
