for me, i will bring my dslr with me for vacations with 1 or 2 light lens(eg all-rounder-18-200) to ensure that i capture the moments during my vacation because i might not be going back there again!.

Will it helps to improve image quality?
Is it necessary to get 1 for a kitlens?

ryzan76 can share ur studio lighting setting? wat kind of economy studio setting is ok for product shooting..

my advise: get a good one if u really want, else dont waste money in getting one.
main purpose of having a filter these days is to reduce glare, increase contrast and protect the glass...

as per the kingston x266 cards, i realize that anything above 4GB lags on the a200. the same is NOT true for sandisk or other brands. -.- there is no such thing as cheap and nice when deleting a single image takes 10 seconds

Well, my main purpose in getting a UV filter is to protect the glass. Some say it is not nessesary to get a filter for my 50f1.4 but after spending almost 1k, u need to protect the glass right? LOL~

how about transcend 133X for 4GB and 8GB ?

anyone got recommendation on tele lens other than 55-200mm which all is below 1k ?

Get 'beercan'. Minolta 70-210 f4 it's below 1k.

I've never had any probs with KIngston Ultimate n Elite 4gb cards on my A200. Both blazing fast. Even the el cheaspo A-Data Speedy 8gb was damn fast. Urs must have incompatibility issues or it's faulty. There IS such a thing as cheap n good. The A-Data 8gb was only rm 200 when my Kingston Ultimate 4gb was rm380. It was just as fast at double the capacity n costs only about half.

is hoya UV filter consider a good filter?

i heard the beercan AF speed is slow...tat mean beercan is better then 55-200 ?

how about the AF speed of 55-200mm in low light condition ?

Buy the hi end 1 good. The cheap 1s are useless.

hoya can consider high end.

buy original.. be original... Sony CZ filters.. har har har...

CZ filters are nice, definitely can improve picture quality due to superb T* coating

i would get the 55-200 ......

hoya has cheap glasses too

hoya got cheap to hi end range 1. Make sure u buy the proper type for digital lenses. the good filters all cost from 100 n above.

so after i put CZ filter then i have CZ lens...
