put it up for adoption if u cant handle dat much...
if u insist in taking care of them, do it the proper way... no need to spend rm1xx on expensive proper made hamster cage... jz get some cheap toyogo plastic box from tesco/jusco can liao... most important got bedding, food, water and wheel.... actually wheel also optional if budget is restricting... but ur hamster will grow vr fat coz cannot exercise.... so i strongly suggest a wheel...

Certain ppl think that they know alot, and ..... just like what happened to you,

4 cages for 8 hams? how big each cage is? bathing it is just not enough. how well do you knw that the infection is 100% gone? and we're not scolding for NO REASON. we've pointed out earlier saying that they WILL fight but you just couldn't care less. so when you did not listen and they fought what you expect us to do?

it is not that they know a lot or less. it's that they're experienced and that is why they're here to advice ppl like you guys. unfortunately some never listened.

Umm...i hope u don't be discourage by all the response u got...
U feel like u kena bomb/scold from these responses, i don't really blame you...but then again, different ppl have their own way of expressing concern...so you have to accept this...k? This way we can learn how to be more mature, emotionally and mentally..

Next time you kena bomb/scold, and get offended....i suggest u take deep breath and calm down...analyse wat is the beneficial points/advice from the comments...and apply it for the benefit of ur hamster.. Please..all the suggestions that you can do, have been given to u by other forumers... So please...calm down, and try and figure out what to do k? smile.gif

Everyone has this kind of experience, not only confined to this forum, but also in the outside world.

Sorry for this kind of input in this forum.... I think it is important...as a petlover to have this kind of mentality... *peace* smile.gif

bro, i noe i m acting harsh.... but if my apologize will come in exchange with a promise of a better future for all your pets... k, sorry lawrence, sorry for my words. we doesnt mean it that way.... just frustrated when saw animals under poor condition that can be avoided. btw, from your siggy, i can see that you have lots of pets... hope the rest do well under your care.

First of all, all of us ady advice u nicely, saying syrian are solitary but u did not take any action like buying more cage for the other 4 and keep going with ur way because u think THEY ARE DOING WELL?
Isn't that ignorance?
How do u judge if the hamster are doing well together?
Never fight? Sleep together?
Sorry but that's just plain assumption of urs
They do get stress, when prolong they ll fight each others or even get wet tail disease due to the stress

For once i was ignorance like u, i keep them together and u can guess what happen next
Im not against u but im just telling from what i can see in u

Last week, i bought a new wheel for my hamster. Ever since then, he kept on peeing in that new wheel. Until his pee bertakung d in that wheel then he'll continue exercising in that. Which sometimes make his body becomes wet due to the pee. So i have to wipe him and the wheel also everytime. Then put him in bathing sand. But still, his fur becomes yellowish due to the pee.

Is there any ways to make him stop peeing in that wheel? Because he still poo in the litter box but not pee. How yea.

in my opinion syrians are the better choice for beginners as they're less agile/active compared to dwarfs. they're tho lazier ones too. hehe!
have you done a research on what type of cage,wheel,food and etc? if you haven't i suggest you to do so. good luck choosing!
