aww ur hammie is sweet ^^ btw someone last time said that shud not allow hamsters to chew on the cage's metal bars for too long or they get poisoning... is that valid for all cages?? cos my squeaky has been doing that for like.... ever... but he seems allright... although he is always his old grumpy self... btw2.... is it normal for hamsters to drool when they do some phisycal exercise? ( i think i asked this already, i apologize in case^^)

I wish to ADOPT 4 winter white hamsters. Can be mix sex, coz i plan to have two cages DIY. wuhaha. I like to see them play n sleep around. If there are new hamster babies available, please reply post, msn or email me.    jie_xp@hotmail.com

Hell guys i wanna ask something , i been studying bout hamsters as i read , Syrians cannot be housed together ? will they seriously fight becuz they are told as a solitary hamsters ? well , is it okay to house 1 pair of syrians together ? which is bought at the same shop together  ? which i provide them enought space and shelter

My best hamster...Siao Bai...has passed away this morning [17/08/2009]. Just now back home found him lying there whole body turn hard already Has made him a coffin and getting buried soon.

Wish he can go to a new place with full of joy happy and healthy always... get out of sickness SB!!! He has been suffering from pneumonia for quite sometime.

guys, how to noe whether hammie is pregnant? i got both my ww around 6 months earlier. nothing happen, i thk they r same sex. bt jst now 1 of the  act strangely, keep on protect herself from being touch by any1, include her cagemate n me. n i saw her downpart, near de sex organ a bit bengkak,like the butt, red red... something like coming out from de hole (sex organ)....

help !!!

what should i do? heard ppl say they'll eat their own babies if not handle properly...how???

but its contains too much KUACI & PALLET thats
hams will not touch eat, the end u throw it..

Btw to whom that asked how to know if hammie pregnant is..

1. count from the day you see them mating.. 16 days <-- estrous cycle
2. she gets a bit fatter especially tummy area
3. makes nest in one corner. <-- throw shredded kleenex inside and see what she does
4. sometimes hammies get a bit garang when they pregnant. doesnt like to be held.
5. eat more

please seperate the daddy immediately. you dont want to stress the mummy~ end up she will have difficulties giving birth.

Yelarh, I think KEPONG is the MOST DIFFICULT PLACE to get TRANSPORT!!

And they won't feel lonely that was what I thought few years back, must buy in pairs, but thats just something sellers say to make more sale, if I'm not mistaken, hamsters love being alone. I think la.

Hehe, jokes aside, Is it possible to go by car? some 1fetch you, or you can wait for some people to confirm going or not, then try tumpang, since we are all pet lovers going for gathering, I think car pooling is not a problem la.

Usually petshop just wanna make more profit, ask us to buy pairs..
Actually hammies lurve to stay alone, coz they get more attention..
Example, (if not mistaken larh) ..Eric138 have his ONLY HERCULES..
& he is so CHUBBY.. Getting more ROUND everyday..
