QUOTE(nicks @ Jul 31 2009, 11:40 PM) yeah after finish update, i re-format it. but really with same settings while on v21, v30 draining more. any ideas on reducing it ?Garmin or any GPS application now is almost impossible to get a lock fast.. i need AGPS to get a GPS lock. battery wise, reduced a little compared. i mostly used it for music. usually last me 2 days, listen @ work. before i need a charge. other that tat.. is darn fine. |

I just bought mine an AP set with IMEI of xxxxxx03xxxxxxx. I browsed through some site and found out that 03 is korean. All the manual shows thats its for "UK" region. I need some advice, what if i want to update my firmware? is it global or does it have any region lock?. I tried to change my phone language just now ...... these option appears :-
1. English 2. Bahasa Malaysia 3. Bahasa Indonesia 4. Chinese |

I wonder why other people said it drained fast...doing hard reset is better than normal format after update..now my batt level is at 4 bars... with some calling, sms, garmin, played RT GR, used the radio... seems ok to me. btw, i did a hard reset after updating |

U install NSS scan for your phone region code cross reference with the region codes. From tat region code you will know the origin of your phone.1. English 2. Bahasa Malaysia 3. Bahasa Indonesia 4. Chinese The update is launch to different country slowly later or sooner watever region code u are on will have an update eventually question is when and how long only? From your language its sound like APAC region language like all of ours. This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Aug 1 2009, 08:04 AM |

I tried to change my phone language just now ...... these option appears :- take out your battery and google your product code then you'll know which country it is from, if it's APAC1-good cause you can update in any country within the Asia Pacific when there is any update, If APAC1 code with certain country-then no good, you can only update in that country only even though there is an update in the oversea country that you are in.(let say your APAC1 code is Thailand code and you are in Malaysia, there is an firmware update in Malaysia and if you try to update you can't do it.)1. English 2. Bahasa Malaysia 3. Bahasa Indonesia 4. Chinese |
