settled after changing product code, my AP set is for british Isle, made in Hungary.....haha better than made in china or worst?

your set confirm AP set right, you have to change your product code to APAC1 first before it is allowed to update firmware.

wanna ask one thing, Facebook application only can use gprs/3g to access, why it does not want to connect with wifi?

You need to change to malaysia product code, use mr. google.

take out your battery and google your product code then you'll know which country it is from, if it's APAC1-good cause you can update in any country within the Asia Pacific when there is any update, If APAC1 code with certain country-then no good, you can only update in that country only even though there is an update in the oversea country that you are in.(let say your APAC1 code is Thailand code and you are in Malaysia, there is an firmware update in Malaysia and if you try to update you can't do it.)

Check your product code, if different from this
0573786: APAC1 Black MALAYSIA, change it
you should be able to update to new firmware,
custom version is nothing actually, different region has different custome code, that's all.

-will not get loose like capdase cause the material is harder than capdase
it's cheap, got mine from ebay for RM5.99

con
-mine does not have holes for sim and memory card
-it's gloosy
-camera buttons are harder to press since it's a harder material than capdase
-more thicker than capdase

i would suspect certain of you mp3 files contain virus and corrupted your memory card, i always back up my memory card before i add any new software or songs or movie so if corrupted you just need to reformat the card and copy back all the content to your card.
