I think you mean the external plastic screen and not the LCD. The LCD is below the layers of plastic screen and touch sensor. I won't be surprised if they don't change your LCD for you. Have to take out the casing to check.

when lock/unlocking the phone, there's a vibration. how do i disable it ?

Simply turn to silence mode or just turn off vibration only will do.

i cant find the option to turn off of that vibration. allll other vibration options i turned it off.

found it. but i missed out the vibration call.. --' when phone rings, it wont vibrate --'

Somehow my phone now doesnt show notification for new incoming sms...

V30 seem worst than V21 imo. Less free RAM (!), 45-50MB on V21 compared to 40-41MB on V31. Speed improvement gained a bit but not very significant.

*My GPS alone seem non-functioning until i enable AGPS... Time for reformat..

i noticed a big speed improvement. And also more free RAM this is confirmed by forumers here and on other forums. You might be the exception in this case.

im getting abt 54MB of free ram on start up without killme

59MB is possible on V21..

More fancy function but also more ram.. its like askin for higher horsepower but also increase fuel saving

technically, its all about efficiency. programmers usually try to make their codes more efficient to achieve the same thing or even more. so it is possible.

Agree with you regarding GPS. I used to run Garmin without enabling A-GPS on V21. Now I need to enable A-GPS and this can be quite costly at 10 sen per lock. Hopefully the signal will improve after a period of usage.

To those intending to update to V30, make sure you backup your data especially contacts and messages. Once you hard-reset your phone after updating, all contacts and messages are gone. Even some of the installed applications will disappear and have to be reinstalled.

The RAM will reduce after certain period of usage due to background caching. 59MB is maximum amount after fresh boot. After a while, dropped to around 45MB but significantly lower than 40MB on V30.
