take out your battery and google your product code then you'll know which country it is from, if it's APAC1-good cause you can update in any country within the Asia Pacific when there is any update, If APAC1 code with certain country-then no good, you can only update in that country only even though there is an update in the oversea country that you are in.(let say your APAC1 code is Thailand code and you are in Malaysia, there is an firmware update in Malaysia and if you try to update you can't do it.)
*
I checked it and founf this no, 0573860: APAC2 Black SOUTH ASIA. Got it from this site http://mytechnews.info/b/2009/05/firmware-...re-updater.html
I found its printed on the box "Made in Hungary". So can i use Asia Pacific/Malaysia region firmware for it?. To make things easier, can i just use the Nokia Software Updater to automatic update my firmware?

Good day !

Extract and install both files, both files are for better Camera resolution and Camera sound OFF.

After install, restart your phone and set ure profile warning tone to OFF mode.

Thats all !

In receiving messages, I set the "memory in use" to be the memory card. Recently when I received a photo file via bluetooth from pc, I do not know where has gone wrong, not only the received file cannot be opened. I cannot access all the messages stored in the memory card.

Now that I need to change the memory in use to the phone memory, else I cant read any incoming messages.

Is this because my memory card has faulty and need to be replaced? I am aware that memory card only has a 3months warranty. Should I request for a new memory card warranty claim?

Some of them suggest that memory card is not suitable for storing messages. It is the cause of the problem that I have. I certainly have no idea about this. Any comment?

Class 2? Remove it and look for a number. Can be 2,4 or 6.

the higher the number, the faster transfer rate to be.
So, class 6 is much more better than class 2.

Sometimes, just format the SD card and reinstall those application will solve the problems, but not sure about yours

read here for more information about SD card class rating

for camera like SLR i will recommend to use class 6,
for handphone use class 4 or 6
for normal compact camera use 2 or 4 will do

The problem 5800 has is with Class 2, so you're on a C6. Shouldn't be the memory card's fault. Mine was a C2 but exchanged for a C4. So far so good.

many of u encounter problem with class 2 SD card, and i strongly believe it is due to the transfer rate problem. So make sure u get a better rating SD card when u purchase it in the bundle box.

Open up your phone back casing, remove the battery, u will see a nokia sticker with IMEI no and Product Code. The product code will identify which zone ur unit belong to.

I'm now officially very happy.

Quickoffice now edits seamlessly (chucking out the cumbersome Officesuite 5 + virtualkeyboard combo), and UCWeb 6.7's finally translated - smooth arse kinescrolling, tabs, flash and all, even under GPRS! Woohoo!
