Don't think so, I managed to get a lock on within 5 minutes without A-GPS. (Was actually checking out the map so I blocked A-GPS from connecting).

usually i lock in 2-3mins and max 5mins when i am driving, usually i just set the destination and place it at the holder and continue driving then it will prompt the direction |

my tube always give me message "GarminXT detected. Launch Now?" every single time i disconnect it from my PC's USB (using mass storage mode). anyone know how to solve this?  |

Regarding the battery fast drain, i had format it again and it seem back to normal. Still full bar after installing all the apps, online to download few widgets and configure online apps. I charged it this morning.
