very frustrated coz fail to make my unlock stabil then i just overclock it

u not using aero theme effect? or it disable after unlock? like my frens 550BE..

I've run prime95 for 1 hour after unlock it @ stock clock speed but I haven't run the prime95 after unlock+OC to 3.5GHz. Currently my rig running as X4 @ 3.5GHz, because lazy to wait to prime it, just unlock+oc and run all my apps. Seems fine, but of course to make sure its 100% stable I need to prime it because now the proc not even reach 50% load where my athlon X2 240 will reach 100% with same amount of apps. Very happy with my new 555 BE.

my phenom2 x3 720BE fails to unlock on msi 770 c45 =(

i duno abt my batch code...i set the acc to auto then reboot and i still got 3 cores,so consider fail?

Did you try to change the "EC Firmware" to "Special"?
What BIOS are you using? I'm using the latest from MSI website.

nope..i tink mine was v1.041 sumthing..i go in bios then i chg the acc oni...i follow guide on internet

sassaug: did u enable the function above the ACC ?
it's some thing like enable/disable unlock cores, then below is the ACC mode where u set it Auto

i also using same phenomx3 + msi 770 c45.
mine manage to unlock to 4 core and prime stable for 12 hours. i didn't OC it cause i'm still using stock cooling

run prime95 blend test for a bout an hour.usually that's more than enough to consider it stable.but i say 1 hour enough but other may say at least 3 or 4 or even 8 hours to consider it stable.

bro my mobo is SB710 rite?then why amd overdrive show SB700?

is there any tools which can read my cpu temp which is unlocked from x3 to x4?

it show SB700 series so 710 belong to that series and so does 750.

no.

once unlock u cant monitor the temp anymore but u can still monitor the temp of the IHS.

just get a x2 555be, unlocked and oc to 3.8ghz...

prime Large FFT with priority 9 for an hour+ :

bro dreaming, hw r ur cooling system? 3.8Ghz still 45c cpu temp..im oc to 3.5Ghz 5 minute prime my cpu temp is 61c
i use Cooler Master TX3 & 2 cooling fan still temp high
